Not sure if this is a bug or intentional, but the crafted enchanting wands are only worth one copper at a vendor? In classic a Greater Magic Wand would cost a Greater Magic Essence to craft, but would vendor for 15 silver. Now it’s one lesser magic essence, but just one copper. I can’t think of any other crafted item from any other profession that has no value, so this seems odd.
To get a greater magic essence you generally had to disenchant 10+ silvers worth of magic items, so it’s not like it was a cheat to easily gain gold, but it did provide a way to get a small return on investment for all the items you had to disenchant rather than vendor or put in the AH. The vendor value also set the value for any AH sales–I can’t recall ever seeing a Greater Magic Wand on the AH for less the 15 silver. Please put the crafting material requirements and the vendor value back to the Classic standard, because right now crafting wands is a waste of resources

Ah. NOW I understand. Others have mentioned this, but I had no clue what they meant as I don’t vendor wands unless I’m done using them. Crafted ones that is, because I can’t DISenchant something I made… That’s NEVER made sense to me. I put them all on AH and you can change the prices, you just can’t use copper for the change. In other words, most are up for 1s, you can put yours up for 2s or 3s but not 1s 50c.
I sell the white ones for 1s, Lessers for 3-5 and Greaters for 10-15 (depending on how many are up for 1s because apparently that is the AH default price for them and once a person tries to sell something for silver + copper and cannot, it seems they just go with whatever the AH says to price things at). They usually do sell too, but I can’t afford to make too many at once so that’s probably why.
I agree, it’s ridiculous that they only vendor for 1c no matter the level. It’s also ridiculous that the default AH price for ALL wands appears to be 1s, no matter the level. This needs to be reverted.
Yeah, it’s just a standard game mechanic that’s been in for 20 years.
But the devs fixed all the bugs and implemented all the other mechanics they’ve been working on.
At this point there was nothing else to do except go back and tinker with the most mundane and irrelevant aspects of the game right before launch.
Not sure about that, it seems Herbalism may be broken with regards to harvesting Frilled Lichen.
AMD graphics cards are still crashing players’ games &/or computers AND losing, corrupting or flat out deleting drivers.
And Mac users are still having troubles.
But yeah, it does seem like that pass for Enchanting was a “Well, this seems like it could be exploited somehow and we don’t have anything else pressing to do so let’s just turn it into total trash.”
