The recipe is 1x Empty Vial, 2x Mild Spices, 1x Briarthorn
Suggest changing the Briarthorn to a herb that generally sells cheaper. Briarthorn is an herb that is more rare then others and warrants a higher price. Currently on the PvE Alliance AH Briarthorn is selling for 6 Silver EA. The Lesser Healing Potions for contrast are selling for about 18 Copper EA. The price of Briarthorn is just to expensive for a new player to buy to level up First Aid.
IMHO if I may suggest, just use Peacebloom like the Minor Healing Potion uses, but change the needed quantity to 2x EA.

Briarthorn will not be rare anymore. Just from my time in Silverpine, its legit everywhere. Every 15 feet.
The devs definitely turned low herb spawns up to 11.
It should be Bruiseweed. Briarthorn is used by alchemists for pretty much everything in that stage of alchemy leveling, and it is rarer in the world than bruiseweed.
They need to just swap it for Bruiseweed, which is more abundant than Briarthorn and less useful to alchemists.
It would make Bruiseweed profitable and still be cheaper for the First Aid user than Briarthorn.
Bruiseweed is already used for regular healing potions.

Then it should be Mageroyal, which actually makes more sense because you need 50 First Aid to make the Lesser Healing pot and you need 50 Herbalism to pick Mageroyal. It’s a nice symmetry.

they should decouple healing potions from herbs altogether. If I have herbing for first aid, why would I not also just pick up alchemy. If I pick up alchemy what was the point in putting health potions into first aid? Make them use fish or something, idk.

Seriously. It makes so much sense. Fish give fish oil, and fish oil is a health supplement. It makes sense thematically, and it gives fishing another reason to exist/makes fishing profitable even at low levels, and makes first aid accessible to anyone of any profession.
I’m SO in favor of this.

Not at that level.. 2 peaceblooms would be best since its the same recipe per se, just stronger.. So kinda makes sense and follows similar to like Line and Heavy Linen bandages..
Overall I am quiet happy with what they have done to First Aid.. My only wonder is if that pain it the butt Triage quest stayed in the game.
