Permanent twinks should not be a thing. It ruins BGs while leveling. Supporting people that only want to PVP when they can maintain a massive gear advantage is silly. If the toggle stays, only group them with other people that have XP off.

What? The whole point of twinking is to pubstomp people. Why would we take this from people? Nobody does leveling BGs anyways, forcing them into their own bracket would mean they would never find a group.

Nah, being able to completely obliterate John Noob who decided to try a leveling BG not knowing it didn’t give experience or anything is a twink’s god-given right. If they’re gonna sit in a 30 minute queue for a leveling BG and spend thousands of gold on expensive BoEs, I think they deserve this much.

Based on the Forever design philosophy, since BGs don’t take place in the open world, not only should twinks not exist, but maybe they should restrict what you can gain from BGs in each bracket to one game.
It doesn’t work, there are simply not enough people to support the gameplay mode, which causes some to quit, which causes qs to get longer, which cause more to quit, into a death spiral.
Instead of limiting people who want to twink by segregating them, blizzard could just limit the efficacy of enchants at low levels, or have more frequent level cutoffs for above level enchants. A 19 getting +3 stam to wrists instead of +1 is not a huge difference but does still allow for effort to be put in above and beyond. A 19 with dual crusader/lifestealing shadowfangs was fun but obviously extremely powerful beyond what a player with grit and determination was typically capable of acquiring on their own.
Twinking characters is a fun bit of min/maxing that can be done in a very time efficient manner and offers a new way to use otherwise throwaway items for a long time. Twinking is cool!

Agree remove the twink xp toggle, people were able to get around it in retail forever. And make BGs queueable from anywhere. Wrath leveling is more fun getting to do random breaks while questing to pvp. Its disappointing its not a thing in classic and leveling bgs are just dead content.
PvP twinks exist for the same reason that qsyncer premades qsync in epic BGs. Only, there is no “we play with ‘friends’” excuse.
Their sole purpose is to roflstomp non-twinked levelers.
They ruin any BG they are in and Blizz inevitably has put them in their own bracket because they suck to play with (boring) or against (also boring).
I suspect the twink scene will go the same way it always has…it’s own bracket. And that is because it lacks the figleaf ‘friendship’ of qsync groups.
But, we’ll see.
Seriously, they suck to play with or against.
And when they have to q against other twinks, magically the bracket dies.

We need more whining and crying about things that gave Vanilla flavor.
Please think of Raikens TEMPORARY PVP EXPERIENCE, as he briefly stops at a bracket he will not stay at long, as he levels to 60.
There should be NO REASON we allow communities of players to create competitive PvP at the 19, 29, 39, 49 and 59 brackets. Please, think of Raiken, guys. He’s a retail player and this is ruining his experience.
Seriously though, this game is cooked. There is no way this is going to be Classic +. This is legit Retail -. I hate to say, but I agree with Dekel.

I had an absolute blast back in the day in the 39 bracket. Vindication 39 was not the most competitive Battlegroup, but we had a lot of active players during TBC and Wrath. Honestly when you play the brackets you barely notice the untwinked guys after a while, always hunting for a worthy challenge with a fellow twink.

Twinking was a core pillar of the gameplay loop for a long long time. This character was a nearly perfect 19 hunter twink (shoulders bugged and no AGM) I had an account with a perfect 19 priest, it’s just no longer played. It was very healty for the lower level dungon economy. People are saying that there wont be reasons to run non 50+ dungeons more than once… well.. twinks are a big one. And while yes, they do make the super low queues harder, usually teams even out (so long as they don’t force premade vs randoms).
It was a fun alternative way to play the game, and would be a shame to see it killed before its even had its chance in the sun in forever.
