Excavation Site Feedback

This dungeon is way overtuned for a mid to late 20s dungeon.

For one, the disease are extremely punishing. In fact they are the most punishing diseases in the game, worse than anything you can find in the plaguelands.

The first one in the croc area stacked 3 times so I had -105% stamina as a tank, for 30 minutes. I ended up killing myself because we had no disease cleanse.

Later on, a spider (somehow this is a disease and not a poison) gave me another 30 minute disease that reduced my spell and physical damage by 128, meaning that my abilities no longer did any damage at all. No yellow numbers no nothing. Guess I gotta KMS again.

In a mid 20s dungeon. I guess the devs just wanted to give any group without a disease cleanser a big **** you. Good luck to any new players out there.

We still cleared it, but this was probably the worst experience in WoW forever ive had so far.

Sometimes less is more.

This is a level up dungeon. It shouldnt have mechanics and diseases that are worse than the plaguelands.

30 min debuffs are just bad design, should be 1 min max

So only priests are viable healers in Forever. Noted.

Paladins have a disease cleanse too no?

Priest, pally, and shaman can all cleanse disease.

Druids handle curses and poison. Shamans disease and poison. Priests disease and magic.

So what did you have healing? Must’ve been a druid, and you didn’t have a single shaman, priest, or pally in the group?

I don’t understand the whole cleansing is a healer responsibility thing. I have to yell at my ret pally buddy all the time to remove diseases.

Yea even when I play elemental or enhancement or balance, I still cleanse. Some players are just bad.

I relish the opportunity to cleanse a curse on my mage.

I honestly had no idea so many classes other than priest could cleanse diseases. I’ve seen so many palis and shammys running around diseased.

Look my shaman buddy had to be reminded that earth shock is an interrupt. At lv 20… Ya cant expect much of the common player… maybe my friends are just really bad at wow now that I think about it lol.

Because healer is the only role that is guaranteed to have a cleanse in some form.

You could have a Prot Warrior tank with a Rogue, Hunter and Warrior dps and that is still a perfectly functioning party (or even a Warlock before lvl 30). And with that party the healer is the only one to have one.

This is just bad players. If they have it, they should use it regardless of role.

Thank you for pointing this out. Cleansing is not just the healer’s responsibility. Every class, regardless of role, can and should help with cleanses

The amount of times I ran as a resto druid in stratholme with a shadow priest or a ret pally and the tank have the debuff on him all the run

First aid can make cleanse items.

Why not try grabbing some first? Sounds like something you need to complete the dungeon. There’s no problems with that.

If it’s 1 minute max, why even have a cleanse to begin with? Might as well just get rid of cleanses at that point.

challenging PvE content should be applauded :expressionless_face: we need more of this

lmao :expressionless_face: 30 min debuffs from mobs are the norm in classic. sounds like you want retail

It is possible to be impactful without being overly punitive if your group is lacking a method to remove it. 1-5 minutes is more than enough to be like “Man this debuff sucks” without feeling like “Alright lemme suicide so we can actually keep doing the dungeon.”

They are the norm, still I always found it stupid regardless. Why are you so white knight defending stupid design choices of your dumb imbalanced Era?

Shoo troll go back to your stagnant imbalanced mess of a server.

Or just level first aid and bring cleanse items with you?

Didn’t we want professions to have more meaning?

how about you do this radical thing called ‘bring a class that can cure diseases’ :expressionless_face:
