Dungeons are pretty much only worth running once while leveling now. That’s also only if your faction has 3+ quests for them. Needs a rebalance for sure.

I was going to level as a healer, second guessing now

I still got nearly a full level from doing the Ruins of Lordaeron quests on my Level 18 druid post nerf. The experience you get from dungeons quests is still equivalent to about that for 2.5-3 regular quests in one. I do hope they pull back on the mob exp nerf slightly but honestly the dungeon exp nerf doesn’t feel world ending to me.

I’ll still run dungeons, they are fun.

I feel bad for healers. This is gonna suck.

Just revert the dungeon quest xp nerf.

Leave mob xp the same

They’ve essentially made doing dungeons useless during the leveling process.

I mean, I usually level as some kinda disc hybrid as Priest anyways. People hate on it, but I love just chilling and wanding lmao.

With that being said, the option to break up that monotony and spam a few dungeons and feel like I am making some headway being less than stellar, is gonna suck. You are gonna have far less healers willing to run that’s for sure.

It’s honestly fine, I’ve levelled each of the healers to 20, and am going resto shaman to 30 - it’s not painful at all. If it’s deeply unenjoyable you can easily do balance, enhance, or disc up to cap and respec cheaply. Exp gains through instance quests has still gotten my resto shaman to 23 without any effort at all

Aren’t they still going to be good for some generally long lasting BiS pieces, until you maybe luck out with something better from raiding…

Dungeon quests give 150% of the xp from normal classic, be serious.

I really do think dungeon quests are in a good spot exp wise. Its mob experience that needs slight retuning. It feels pretty useless to fight anymore mobs than is absolutely required in a dungeon now and that feels bad.

Still gives you the best gear for the level range, so I wouldn’t say it’s useless.

At max level yes.

As for leveling in the most efficient manner possible you’re only going to want to run dungeons once. Gather all the quests, run the dungeon, and then move on.

Yeah, with that the ‘skips because I don’t wanna waste time’ crowd are gonna be more obnoxious than normal. People trying to do skips in random pugs is one of my biggest pet peeves in the game. Somebody always fails in some way shape or form. Now, you get even less for failing, the skip only crowd is gonna be far more annoying than normal.

Yeah it’s bad… I was really hyped for WoW forever but might not even play at this point, I wanted to main a healer and tank and now it feels pointless to make

Literally no need to spec into healing while leveling

You can heal

Yeah no thanks.

This game may not be for you.

The gear was out of control and made the character far to powerful relative to the leveling world. Players were saying this from the beginning. We knew it would be nerfed.

Dungeons are fun. Most of us play to have fun.

You still get all of this. With the current xp nerf quests still give double what they gave in classic.

Again, this may not be for you zoomers and thats ok, you still have other options.

Cheers!
