Revert the Dungeon Mob XP nerf or Open Refund

I’m extremely disappointed with how Blizzard has handled the Dungeon XP nerf.

A lot of us provided feedback because we wanted the original change reconsidered. Instead of reverting it, Blizzard went in the opposite direction: Quest XP was nerfed even further, making dungeon leveling feel almost irrelevant as a legitimate leveling path.

At this point, I have to ask: What exactly is “Classic” about this?

During the WoW Forever announcement, Blizzard repeatedly emphasized the word “Classic.” Yet one of the most recognizable ways people have played Classic for years—forming groups, repeatedly running dungeons, and leveling through them—is being systematically discouraged.

I don’t understand why dungeon leveling needs to be made irrelevant just to promote open-world questing.

Let people quest.

Let people grind mobs.

And let people level through dungeons.

These playstyles can coexist.

I’m currently a Guild Master running 4 BT + MH raid groups on the Anniversary realms, with a guild of roughly 500 players. From the conversations I’ve had with my guild, almost all of them share the same frustration and disappointment with the direction of these changes.

I paid $80+ for the WoW Forever Collection Pack because I was excited enough about this project to support it and participate in the Beta. At this point, I genuinely regret that purchase.

If this is the direction Blizzard intends to keep, then please provide a clear way for customers who purchased the WoW Forever Collection Pack specifically because they wanted to participate in and support this experience to request a refund past 72 hours window of purchase.

I want my $80 back. And I will not bring my guild over to Forever without Blizzard reconsider.

And judging by the reaction I’m seeing within my own community, I don’t expect my refund request to be the only one. 400+ more people from my guild asking the same question.

We participated in the Beta because Blizzard asked for feedback. Please actually listen to that feedback instead of doubling down on changes that are pushing an entire style of Classic leveling out of relevance.

You can literally go to your account and request a refund. Your beta access is immediately removed. There’s nothing stopping you outside of these empty threats. Bye :waving_hand:

is there any guide for how to get refund for beta?

yes they are empty threats… but they have points if you go beyond that.

The instructions worked for me a couple of hours ago.

Edit: and I purchased the beta access right after it was revealed at Blizzcon.

I agree, I can’t for the life of me understand the vocal minority that won’t be satisfied until everyone else is forced to play the game they way THEY want. They’d love to complain until the game only exists with them..But then it dies because it doesn’t make money.

Let other people live the way they want to live. You don’t see people who enjoy dungeoning demanding that questing xp be nerfed. That people should have to dungeon more. It’s only 1 way.

Actually, I am intersting for what the current loot method u guild run? The TBCA is ban GDKP, but is there any good method for loot? And possible to allow the player can switch between each raid group to fit their schedule.

I did to test it a few days ago after purchasing the pack when it was announced at blizzcon. I was refunded and lost beta access immediately after refund processed.

How hard is it to understand that they don’t want players rushing to 60? We’re all going to get there, do questing outside for experience and do dungeons for the fun of it. If you are a healer or tank, group up together to do quests together in the open world. You guys act like this wasn’t what it was like in Vanilla WoW. You’d get a pocket healer and go to town in the whatever place was level appropriate. Mob grinding in Silithus or Plaguelands was a blast trying to make those last levels to reach 60.

We will not come back until they revert the change or offer a legit way to level via dungeon grinding
