As of the patch today, Any night elf male model I see (mine or any other, regardless of class) has back items like 2h weapons or Shields floating independently of their body.
Something has decoupled them.
Run around jump up and down and they just don’t move with you. No other Models seem to be having the issue.
EDIT
FIXED as of patch day on 10/8/2026
yeah i just noticed that is only with the HD model
Good to know, thank you!
Yep, be it shields of staves, on the HD male Night Elf model, they are floating.
Logged in on my Nelf today and saw the same with my 2H sword and with my Quiver. The quiver is worse because it clips through my body while shooting. Pretty funny looking.
Also If you have a night elf in your party, at least male so far. You can watch them fight while sitting down. Spell casting, swinging weapons, all sitting down.
wooo it’s fixed!!!
