OTK announced they’re doing another classic dueling tournament, with a prize pool of $50,000 for the beta at level 30, and immediately after that announcement was confirmed a number of streamers mysteriously found themselves loaded with amounts of gold they should not have.
You then have a streamer being traded over 500 gold total split between two separate level 1 characters and laughing about it knowing full well it’s not legit gold and there is 0 punishment.
As it turns out, the gold buying enforcement and the whole “we’re not playing nice guys anymore” “no more lenience” “we’re taking it seriously this time for sure” was once again all a facade.
What I really think you are saying is they have gold and things you want but you can’t get it. So you are mad.
That’s not much for a streamer to have. They are prepping for the tournament they have guilds farming for them. They have to level all professions and several characters for Legacy talents. This is what happens when you have a GUILD working together. Actually what an MMO experience is all about. (A group of players working together for one goal)
Maybe some day you have your own Guild of players farming for you and your goals and get to experience this. Until then stay salty my friend.
I cant believe he got given a revelations enchanted staff rofl. I got that enchant on my lock and its insanely powerful for dot classes. Though i do think this wasnt botted gold, some people were selling shield spikes / boot shoes and summons and were making 200g an hour from it .
1.5g a shield spike and you can buy 120 copper bars for 1 gold and make pants that sell for 2g 56s atm. I was selling boot enchants for 3.5g and my guildy was doing the same, he made about 300g in 4 hours. and i have about 60g.
to wide spread for that seen several posts about it and there bveen a few where people would send money to p[eopel they dont like and if they take it they get suspended.
I think there automated system need a little tweaking more than anything since there clearly automated suspension it would seem
It’s hard to say if it’s bought though without evidence. Like I have 9 gold in my 20 after spending a fair amount. If an entire guild sends 2 gold to a bank alt, or player taking a collection, then 500 gold isn’t really a hard goal to reach. Not saying that it isn’t bought gold, but you need solid, irrefutable evidence before you lob such accusations. Sure it’s possible someone used an alt account to buy and traded it to them, but we have no proof to assert that it’s definitely gold buying.
I had to buy those 10 coarse dynamite from the AH for that quest…13s a piece at the time. So some engineer made over a gold off me for just 10 items…one engineer could easily make a BUNCH of gold selling those if thats what they concentrate on.
The neat part of the “Journey” is something YOU need to figure out. YOU are worrying about someone else’s journey and experience instead of YOURS. What a streamer does or Guild does is their journey. It doesn’t effect YOU.
If someone can farm attain 1,000’s of gold in a legit way it doesn’t hurt you or your journey at all.
Nothing is odd at all I broke down the facts for you. You have a weird personal bias.
People don’t understand the economy or how to make gold so when they can’t imagine it they scream cheating instead.
Most of the gold being thrown around right now wont exist all that much because the amount of gold generated will be split between several locals and being capped at 20 a lot of these things wont actually be useful to make from professions so a lot of people wont have the 1000s of gold either.’
Outside of a few gamers most people will struggle to have 100gold by 40 and usually they have it by 44 which is still a really big thing when u get that mount. The epic mount is usually the one that is a TRUE journey similar to a lock or paladin getting their charged, level 40 mounts were never really all that hard to get if you just played the game.
I love that forum so much, esp when a blue actually replies to a thread and they just get straight burned for lying about what happened., all these people saying they were Auto banned from people reporting them and a blue telling them what they did is pure gold.
