The druid cat form quest idol has over a hundred people in line and about 20 people trying to loot it at a time with the same “No loot” error message on one of the statues. Since about 6pm yesterday, the same few people have been spamming it not allowing others to take turns grabbing the item for the quest.
Why is this not instanced? Why is this not an interact-able quest? Who decided it should be loot locked by a timer? You have had 20+ years and multiple classic launches to figure out bottlenecks like this Blizzard. Unacceptable.

Can confirm. Was one of the first in line yesterday and have periodically logged in to see if it’s gotten any better. It has not. Please address this ASAP. It makes it impossible to secure cat form for druids. A signature class ability for us at 20.

I completed that the other day. Must’ve missed that glitch.
I did notice the exact same thing with the Furbrow’s Pocket Watch quest in Westfall. Everytime I went to loot the wardrobe it should’ve been in, I got the message, “no loot.” Reported it, but didn’t realize that bug was cropping up in other quests. Hope they fix it soon.

I think there’s some sort of disconnect in the respawn of quest items within containers.
I ran into this in Westfall. Each time someone would loot it, no one else could loot it for 15 to 30 seconds. I’m guessing the same thing is happening with the druid one.

Walked up with my druid and saw a massive line. Depressing. But most people being civil which was a bit of a shocker.

Aanthana Nightbreeze - One of the players who has been at the idol for over 12 hours spam clicking it, has also admitted to having people in rotation to keep it bugged and unlootable. Check their whispers if a GM sees this post. Thanks!

Do the mass report cheating or gameplay sabotage. Their AI system kicks anyone with like 40 reports.

This quest should be readable tablets or something, not a lootable item. That way this could all be fixed. It only takes a few people to spam the orbs and make hundreds have to suffer through waiting for something they will never complete.

I can confirm I have been trying for at least a day to do this with no success due to griefers. PLEASE FIX BLIZZ! - NO mass report no way to report except via bug feature.

The fastest players unlock cat form while the rest are resigned to a fate of healerdom or meme chicken, as it should be.

Even after posting this thread, the same people are still at it ruining it for everyone, and every minute or so, some poor soul gets in line hoping that the quest is even complete-able. Which it isn’t.
