I thought weather was already a thing. How is this new?
Was there ever some reality where the game launched without weather and everyone just pretended that was normal?
This reads to me like an announcement that XP will now be awarded upon killing enemy creatures. Like, yea okay isn’t that the default?
I haven’t even seen a drop of rain on the beta and it’s been really disappointing. I miss the rainy gloom

Yes, thank you! I always loved the torrential rainfall you could encounter in places like the Wetlands. Or the blizzards in Dun Morogh

oh cool, But who asked? also increase the instance mob XP Plenty of reasons why in the forms. Also fix Threat/warrior rage/give pallys a taunt that isnt combined with a seal, and let druids power shift for energy.

is there going to be morning fog? Or wind effects for strong storms? Will there be normal rain VS thundering rain?! Will we see tornardos? 
Would be so funny to accidentally get caught in one and get tossed far away and die 
Snow effects too? Thundering snow storms? What about rough waves? Seasonal weather?

I’m excited for these improved weather effects. I’d be even more excited if I could enjoy them on an RP-PvP server where it would lead to emergent gameplay.

will we hear our foot steps splitter splatter in the rain? or crunch in the snow more crisply? What about dust storms? will we see leaves rip off of the trees in strong storms?

Just when I thought I couldn’t get any more excited about WoW Forever, I see this and somehow I am even more excited.
I never knew at this point in my life I could ever get excited over an MMO like this again.

There is snow in places like Dun Morogh, but it feels very few and far between. There would even sometimes be full-on blizzards, but I feel like those were extremely rare even in vanilla. It would be awesome if they happened a bit more frequently. Also, I hope they fix our breath. You used to be able to see your character’s breath in cold environments but it’s not working in the beta currently.
