Blizzard I think you need to reconsider the early talents perk. While I understand this is a very exciting perk, it is the only one that really gives increased player power (even if just for leveling). New players who don’t have enough perks in dungeons will be wondering why they are doing so much less damage than another person of the same class, people getting killed by abilities they aren’t anticipating in WPvP, etc.

It is too strong of a choice and I feel it largely goes against what the Legacy system represents.

I don’t want to get to know it. It’s a bad system that has absolutely no place in an MMO. (or any multiplayer video game, for that matter)

Please explain further so if a dev comes by they can have feedback other than “horrible system”

Your character should not be made stronger from anything outside of the game barring the player’s direct abilities and time. Having your character made stronger because you had a different character is antithetical to the values they promoted on stage. If I login to a new character, and you login to a new character, nothing either of us have done on any other characters should have any bearing.

“For great honor” will work in BG’s?

that should hopefully cut the honor Farm in BG’s

The legacy I want to build needs to include an RP-PVP ruleset. Please, Blizzard!

I think saying your character is “made stronger” is a bit of a stretch. Most of these are tradeskill-related, and the only ones under adventure that might be cause for concern is the one that allows players to unlock talent points at level 5 and the well-rested buff. However, we don’t know how these will play out in application and if the difference will be so noticeable, so we shouldn’t be worried about it right now.

Nothing about your character should be determined by the game before the moment you hit create. Nothing.

Nothing is determined. You allocate the points yourself and you’re not required to allocate them at all if it bothers you that much.

The points existing at all is it being determined.

“just don’t use the system hurrr durrr” :expressionless_face: not a good argument. we still have to deal with everyone else using the system

By what measure? How everyone else uses the system has zero impact on you.

still doing this? it obviously has impact on us. i’ll let you use that brain of yours to figure it out.

Okay, so no, it doesn’t. You’re just looking for reasons to be mad.

Looks like ‘Retailification’ is already baked into the roadmap. Sorry all you Classics buffs…

Good thing is that Classic Era servers will still be up for you!

Let people who like the Forever features enjoy them.
