Running on foot up to lvl 20 is completely acceptable. Once the world opens up a bit, dungeons become available, gathering picks up, and we are moving around the world a lot more than 2-3 zones, we definitely need a slower (think 30% speed) and cheaper mount that should be available at lvl 20.

Yes, druids and Hunters get a free speed as part of their class. Others will have to pay for a lvl 20 mount.

Nope, wasting ungodly amounts of time traveling around the world without a mount is apart of the classic experience… also you wont have the gold at 20 to buy a mount or riding skill so its moot anyways

No, it isn’t, but here’s the thing:
One of the key ingredients that has been missing for a long time is connection to the game world. We didn’t have to ask where something was because we knew the name of every subzone and what quests/vendors were found there. That kind of connection made everything more immersive and it also made the world feel bigger because we knew every corner of it.
And how did that happen? Because we had to hoof it for so long.
40 will come. We will get mounts. 60 will come, and we will get fast mounts. We will stay that way for the rest of our time in Forever.
It’s worth it. Just deal with it and let it make you learn the world. That will be the end result, and it matters.
(That said, I could really appreciate more than one FP per zone right now. I see no reason at all for not having a flight point in Goldshire/Dolanaar/Second Towns all over the world.)

It is not Plus and it is not Classic. It is literally named different then both of those things because it is neither. It is WoW Forever which is NOT Plus and is NOT Classic. Why is this so hard to understand? It isn’t retail either, obviously. It is its own game with its own take.
