Im currently equipped with Enh shaman bis (or pretty damn close) on the beta. I know its only level 20 but PvP will happen at low levels, and we are worthless.
After fighting 1v1 every single class about 100 times, this is my conclusion:
When I win against level 20’s its close; when I lose, it’s by a mile.
In dungeons im doing really good on the meters so it’s not a stat allocation issue, and im not making any misplays when im pvping. It’s just a lack of ooomph in my damage, and Ele isn’t in much of a better state.
I know at 30 with Storm Strike and WF weapon things may change, but right now this is just brutal.
I think I would fix it by making a basic version of Storm Strike as a level 1 baseline ability, then have increased ranks every ten levels or by talents.
“Storm Strike: make an attack costs x mana” would go a long way towards making my character able to function in PvP. Since we will get Storm Strike at 26 anyway, (sic) it wouldn’t change anything for higher levels.
Right now im going to have to level as resto until 30 just to be able to survive gankings at this point, and even then we dont know what to expect from rogues at that level.
Again this is AFTER getting all the best gear from WC and SFK.
Ive already addressed that in the OP. The issue is right now when the game goes live pre level 30 we are free kills in pvp. So if you play on a pvp server or try and go to battle grounds you will have a miserable time. This is classic + and the perfect time to give feedback and let them change things.
As i understand it we will have access to WSG at level 10. We will be able to cap honor at ten, so if you choose to go into the BGS pre level 30 you will be miserable. This may be changed for “Forever” but i would love to get my faction tabbard at level ten

You saw that MW can’t be used for healing right? That’s a huge nerf.
Enhance feels great to me. I guess we are not at the top of the level 20 PVP food chain but Ghost Wolf everywhere and the Nova changes are big…before we start talking 8 second SS and WF
So you’re saying you KNOW that you don’t yet have your primary pvp weapon buff, and only weapon strike… but you still made this thread?
You’ll get your burst at 30. The real trick later on, will be realizing you need to gap close and survive long enough to use it. Vanilla enhance is basically WotLK Frost DK: You run in and do people dirty if you can connect… but ultimately are extremely 1 dimensional.
