Some things I’ve run in to:
Can’t send mail to/from some of my characters.
I have 1 of every class with first name “Just” last name “A______” ____ being the class name.
My druid named Just Adruid keeps getting mail from random people, items, gold, all kinds of stuff.
My shaman can’t send mail to any of my other characters, I get an error saying I can’t send mail to myself.
I tried to work around this by sending mail to someone and having them send it to my mage. The mail they sent to my mage ended up going to my druid. Tried sending it from my druid to my mage and it went to my shaman.
Side effect:
I keep getting mail from random people. I’ve gotten multiple letters with gold and items in them on my druid. People I don’t know!

wouldn’t surprise me if the 2 name system messed something up with mail

When two characters have the same first name, you cannot mail between them.
When sending to that first name from a DIFFERENT name, it is all going to one of them even when I try specifically typing First-Last of the other.
I effectively cannot get mail to one alt whatsoever because the other catches it instead.
Honestly insane.

Yeah, I have two characters with the same first name. I can only mail items to one of them. They can’t mail anything to each other. The game seems to only recognize the first name and ignores the second.

The first name should be the unique name. Would solve a lot of these problems with mail and whispers
I think it’s probably an easy fix, AI just messed up a DB lookup or something lol
good thing there is an in your face “bug report button” in game the second you start. prevents people with more than a single brain cell from wasting everyones time making forum topic about it and helps ensure the devs will be aware of it

I made this as a pseudo PSA + beta feedback. I and others have already reported it in game but it’s not listed in the known issues yet.
