There has been so much good work done for immersion in Wow Forever. I really am enjoying new elements like night time and fog. Then all immersion is ruined when I get an annoying layering pop up in my face. This could easily be changed. Instead of a clunky immersion killing pop up message, why not something simple and sleek instead? Perhaps something like a simple icon could appear in the corner. The first time it appears you can explain to the player that this icon is a warning of a layer change and to click it to refresh the layer or it will be done automatically in 5 minutes. From then on you only see a small pretty icon that doesn’t break immersion. You can click it at your convenience to refresh the layer. No ugly pop up in your face breaking immersion.

Or we could just…have normal freaking servers so things are believable and you get to know your in game community like the old days.
Then make dungeon/raid group finding tools let you search and form groups cross server…
That way I don’t have to load in and out of different realities randomly and seemingly for no explainable reason utterly demolishing all immersion on a semi regular basis…just a thought though.

They’ve done this over and over and the story is always the same: wild faction imbalance and everyone gravitating to 1 or 2 servers anyway while the others die off. This is just cutting out the middle part and letting everyone start off together.
