Experiencing DX12 crashes?

Go into graphics settings at the login screen, the screen where you see your character before you go into the game.
Go to menu and go to your graphics settings and do the following:
Under Low Latency Mode, set to Disabled.
Under Secondary Lighting, set to Fair.
Now you can get back into the game and it should feel much smoother.

You’ve made this post with a specific temporary fix, and it’s much appreciated for those who do not know the cause. Thank you – I do have to say that it’s unacceptable that we must operate in the game at lower graphic value than others. This AMD problem has been outlined by multiple other threads, and not a single “we will look into it” from any level of staff.
It is the weekend, I suspect we’ll hear something on this front in the next few days.
It is also a Beta. Memory leaks and graphic/sound issues are rife in it but it is a Beta for testing. You signed up for this. 
I can confirm… this does work… But it doesn’t effect only AMD cards… I’m experiencing the issue on a Nvidia 4070 Super… Same exact problem.
Good temporary fix until Blizzard can undo whatever caused it in the patch update. Beta ran fine no GPU issues prior to the first patch they released.
