1 minute is way too long. Needs to be 30 seconds. Iād be more inclined to type a chat with a reduced time but I honestly use it as time to go grab a drink and pee.

Iām impartial to them. Theyāve been good for finding people do the quests I want to do. Usually we riff for a little bit and then weāre off.

Go to options and turn on chat bubbles because for me, so many people talk when theyāre around my campfires.

You get more conversation in the lines waiting to turn in quests where the npcs move, or quest item pickups that have a respawn timer.
I sat one down in front of the quest area for the āpilfered windstonesā quest. Had two people sit and RP chat.
Dude almost died to a mob and said āphewā.
I think people are outright lying.

Of course did you honestly expect otherwise? It is just downtime unfortunately. You canāt force communication from people that donāt want to communicate.

So I sat down at a campfire and got a couple of useful buffs. Cool, I had a spare minute. But then I made the mistake of sitting at another campfire and got a couple of buffs that did nothing for my class AND they removed the good buffs from the first campfireā¦ So I donāt bother with them anymore.
Also, if the design intent was for players to socialize, this is not going to work. 1 minute is too long for most people and they are just going to go AFK while waiting. That has been my experience so far.
I donāt think so. I think they are just players who donāt talk and players who do. Those who happen to be the talkative type are likely to get people talking. Those who arenāt will likely be silent and wait for someone else to start talking and if no one does. Silence.
Pretty much this. To be honest, most of the random ātalkā so far (outside of groups or guild) has just been Americans going on about Israel, trump, explaining why the US is better than every other country and making racist trolls.

The people saying this are also the ones not trying to talk themselves. I donāt get it, Iām not sure why they are so worried about people not talking to them if they arenāt talking themselves.
