Druid questline for Bear form broken for me

So, I don’t know why this is happening but I have a lvl 11 High Order Skyborn, and I accepted the quest from the trainer to goto the Moonglade. Talked to the nightelf in the house next to where you port in at. Turned in that quest and then nothing there is no followup quest for me to take to go talk to the spirit bear. I reported the bug yesterday, and today yet there is still no fix. I can’t learn abilitys from the trainer cuz no bear form, I can’t use bear form cuz I don’t have it… and it is very annoying can a GM please take a look and figure out what is happening/happened. Thanks

Update: Still no Bear form or quest to get bear form… but I was able to pick up the quest for cleanse poison.

Update 2.0: I have just been informed that you as a “Skyborn” have to get the bear form quest from the trainer on the starting zone. So we can’t skip the ending of the starting zone, or you’ll be a bearless druid. Talk to the Druid Trainer in Valanaar

I just did this quest tonight and you just go talk to the bear, go kill his mate across the zone, and then return to him and you get bear form.

Edit: I should mention, I was on an Alliance Skyborne.

The issue is that after turning in the first quest when you portal to the moonglade, the questgiver “Dendrite Starblaze” doesn’t have a follow up quest to go talk to the bear, the questline just dies away. When I run over to the bear there is no quest to go kill his mate. Seems like it’s random if it works, cuz I ran into another skyborn who was asking about it ingame at the quest giver, during one of my 10 attempts to see if the quest has magically appeared.

Im pretty sure I got bear form before I ever left Zephras Isle.

What race are you? It might have changed for all. I never went to moonglade for bear form. I had it before I ever even made it to Thunder Bluff. The druid trainer in Valanaar gave me the quest to get bear form instead of going to moonglade like normal. Is it possible theres a druid trainer somewhere else that has the quest?

I didn’t get a quest to portal to Moonglade until I got to Stormwind. I never left Zephras Isle to get bear form.

yeah… that makes me think that night elves and taurens might have the same thing now and since so many of us have played druid before they all expected it to come from moonglade but now there might be a druid trainer somewhere along the way with a quest marker they havent seen.

Then again its the beta and it wouldnt be the only quest to be bugged.

Hmmm. Okay that makes sense. I had a friend level a Tauren Druid yesterday, I can ask them whether they were sent to Moonglade to get bear form. They definitely have bear form at this point.

I was sent to moonglade as soon as I got to Mulgore but I had bear form for hours by then. I think people are gonna have to untrain themselves.

Hey All,

I too had this issue on my skyborne horde character. Turns out you have to go back to the Skyborn starting zone (the last location with the airship that takes you from mulgore) and grab the quest from the druid trainer in that town. Then you can do the quest. For what ever reason ours isnt linked to the normal way of getting bear form and this most certainly is a bug for us.

Wish I could. Hit the right level as a sky borne… no bear quest. Which made for a very sad run.

Skyborne have their own bear quest. Pick it up from the Druid trainer in Valanaar at level 10. It’s unrelated to the quest that ends with you getting Moonglade teleport.

In terms of quest flow and lore, you hit level 10 before you leave the island. You’ve never been to Azeroth, you didn’t even know those crazy kids were calling it “Azeroth” now, so it wouldn’t make sense for you to go to Moonglade for Bear form.
