hey blizz something is wrong with the FPS in the game im only getting around 25-30 frames per second on a 9060 XT
Same here. I have a 5090 and 9950x3d and I’m getting between 25-30 fps.
A lot of complaints in game about this.. 30-40fps. I’m stuck at 32fps, adjusting all quality and options to minimum is the same fps as max
Same, would be nice to get a response… This feels bad on my eyes… Really bad.. Hard to test with a migraine..
Guess I’ll wait a few days to dip a toe in.
Have you tried the sd models? Curious if that improves performance.
Im getting decent latency, but very low framerate. Asround 20 FPS. Using SD.
Same exact issue here. I can play Wow Classic with ultra settings and get 150-200fps.
With Forever I’m getting 40-50 fps with low settings and 40-50 with ultra settings.
Fps caps are off, vsync is disabled, SD/HD models make no difference. Tried to walk all the way to an empty corner of a zone to see if it it was just people around me giving me lag but nothing changed.
I’m gonna give this a try later once people are not hanging out on the same spot, not sure what else to try.
I don’t know about other areas, but some Night Elves have fixed their FPS by logging back to character select screen and logging back in for their starting zone.
I don’t think it has anything to do with HD/SD models, I don’t think it has anything to do with classic or retail, I just checked retail as well (which supposedly has all the same crap as this) and my frames are even better there than in Classic TBC… Idk wtf this crap is.
Yeah I’m sure its not a PC issue. Getting the exact same fps with low/ultra settings feels very weird, I think something is messing with the game or it’s just the way the game is calculating all the layers and stuff happening around you, not a graphics issue.
Flickering textures and low fps here around 25-30 definitely not going to be playing like this for long massive headache
Have you tried reducing all your settings to the lowest and then slowly start changing some of the settings up.
Even at absolute minimum the FPS is still really rough.
Exited my game - updated my graphics driver and restarted my PC - went from 24 fps to 100+ on ultra settings now. Ensured every background process was closed out except for Discord - i9 10900 with RTX 3090 - hope this helps!
I started at 140 fps basically maxed settings. After an hour or so I was running at 35-40 fps. The number of people seemed similar. It seemed like a mem leak or something.
Make sure you disable Target Framerate. I disabled that and it over doubled my FPS.
It seemed pretty smooth at the start as far as I could tell, but right before the server shutdown things were really getting quite choppy.
I’m not sure if you need to delete you cache, but I deleted my cache and relaunched the launcher and WoW and I’m maxed out 144fps at “7” settings. I was running 30-40 fps before that.
If you hadn’t already tried it, simply logging out and back in made it a lot better. I don’t mean exiting the game, just logging back to character select, and then back in.
I’d say try it now, but unless you got lucky, you’re not in yet.
