Is this forum locked to only those with Beta access like previous Beta forums have done?

In first person… beautiful experience.

Myself and many other random players around me, multiple times yesterday, would just stop and be like “Gaaash this is beautiful”. Plainstriding maybe builds up a little faster after you’ve recently been in combat? Loving my tauren zoomies

Really hope they don’t nerf that speed. Makes cows more formidable.

Whats the deal with FPS? I launch the game and get 100+FPS then eventually the fps falls to around 30-40 fps. I can log out to character selection screen and join again fps is fine then back down to 30-40. GPU utilization goes from 60% down to 10%.

Seeing a lot of feedback where dungeons give too much exp as well as power even with the model of quests vs mob exp in dungeons.

A potential rebalancing could be to utterly nerf the exp in dungeons (quests, mobs alike). Keep the strong gear, and increase difficulty in the open world. Make it so there is a tradeoff between open world (exp incentive) and dungeons (item incentive) so it makes it so you want to grind out dungeon gear to move onto the next tier of open world levelling.

Example - make deadmines gives little to no exp, semi-spammable.

Increase mob difficulty in redridge/dusk wood etc so it feels like you need to grind some dungeon gear to progress to the next phase (but not so hard that you can’t make it thru with quest gear). Like maybe quest gear means you need to sit every other mob, dungeon gear makes it like ever 5.

Make it a choice w/ incentives and tradeoffs to go get dungeons gear vs continue questing. Consequently lock some gear behind professions so then maybe you can also take alternate profession routes to gain power to then quest/level.

I’d like to suggest allowing Skyborne to play as Mage or warlock on the Horde side.
I’ve been a long-time Troll Shaman player, and my wife used to play a Blood Elf Mage with me on the Horde side. She really likes the appearance of Skyborne, but she also wants to continue playing Mage or Warlock. It would be great if Skyborne could have access to Mage or Warlock so we could continue playing together on the Horde side.
I think this would give players more flexibility while still preserving the unique identity of the Skyborne race.
Thanks for considering the feedback!

i got a invite to try wow forever n i when to play but it said not out yet wth blizz

Some nice class changes, having fun so far on Hunter and Warrior. Would like to see Battle Shout last longer

Loving so much about this game. Thank you to everyone involved for all your dedication to bringing this to life. I was too young to get to really experience the lightning-in-a-bottle phenomenon in 2004 and I feel like I may just have a chance to now as an adult.

My favorite additions:

  1. The changes to the lighting, fog, and water are so perfect. What a tasteful way to breathe new life into this timeless game without ruining its original charm.
  2. Class balancing so far seems good. For the most part I’m loving the class changes. It feels like you maintained the Classic class design philosophy and balanced classes out better.
  3. The realmless architecture might turn out to be one of the most impactful changes in the WoW history. I’m so happy about this. There’s something magical about seeing so many other humans playing alongside each other. I hope you keep the slightly crowded feeling as you tune everything.

My biggest concerns:

  1. It feels like rare gear is too prevalent at this low level and it makes me worry about future gear scaling and aspirations for WoW Forever to have horizontal progression. I think most of the rare drops in the new dungeons should be downgraded to uncommon. Perhaps you could give the uncommon boss drops some cool affixes instead. I think having 1-2 rare items drop from the last boss would be good.
  2. With all of the new quests I am worried the leveling journey might become too easy. I think that in order to compensate for the influx of new quests, experience gains across the board should be reduced. I love the changes to dungeon experience to de-incentivize boosting and RMT markets, but I worry the dungeon quests give too much experience.
  3. I’m deeply worried about the legacy talent system. I love the idea, but I think the strength of the talents are way too strong and I think that it is way too easy to earn new talent points. I think it will trivialize the leveling process and introduce game breaking strength differentials that will make it hard for new players to compete/play on an equal playing field. I love the idea of introducing new ways to add horizontal progression, but the current implementation is overturned. Maybe a bit drastic, but I think you should only get 1 legacy point when you level a character to 60.
  4. Being faction locked on a PvP rule set makes me sad. I get it and I generally agree with the philosophy, but perhaps you can introduce a cooldown/debuff that restricts a player from playing the opposing faction for 1 week, or 1 day, or some other length of time.

I hope that the classic development team is able to stay strong as people pressure them to reintroduce all the QoL features that led to retail.
