Step into Midnight’s Talebound, a PvE action RPG game mode where macabre stories come to life. Venture solo or with friends through eerie tales filled with enemies, bosses, puzzles, treasure, relics, and cosmetic rewards as you confront the terrors waiting beyond Quillgrave.
Interesting.
I love spooky things, so I’m very excited to see this
I do like drusty stuff. It’s a question of whether I have time for it. Hell, I’ve still never done a single one of those lorewalker things!
I’m a sucker for spooky rpg’s, so I’ll give this a shot.
This sounds like something more up my alley.
Tentatively interested.
But will be doing it for the mount regardless if nothing else.
Rewards look neat
This seems really neat? I really want to give this a go with my pals.
It’s interesting it seems to be taking an action RPG approach, even adding mechanics like flinching.
Is this something Diablo-ish folded into WoW? Interesting concept for a mini side thing if so.
Will this actually stick around instead of going away like Plunderstorm and the others?
A roguelike to hop into every now and then during downtimes would be amazing to have. This is why I keep wanting Torghast to return in some form.
Am I only one that is tired of them adding other game modes? Remixes I like but beyond that how about concentrate on the game itself.
Intestesting, but a bit odd. Seems like it falls into a similar category of “what does this mean me” as the abyss anglers minigame?
Saw the overview video and it does seem interesting. It’s like a total side story. I think all will depend on how it plays out in actuality.
If it’s a long, play this instead of that, it might feel like a drag. If it’s a shortish ‘hey, here’s something to do if you’re not wanting to dive into retail right now’ thing, could be good.
The game play I’m leery of. There’s a reason I don’t play certain games, I don’t have the time and patience for them, so they need to be worth doing.
The different classes you can be definitely has the feel of testing the waters before maybe introducing them into the main game. Maybe. A sort of mini-testbed while also giving stories.
Overall, intrigued. Given Blizzard’s track record of late, I’ll reserve enthusiasm.
It doesn’t have to mean anything.
It has no associated power, and it’s not mandatory. It’s an optional activity you can either do or ignore.
It’s just a minigame they added to give people something to do until the next patch arrives.
and one more page taken from GW2?!
Maybe they are learning. maybe the AI is learning.. moving away from this human slop.
I think we’re on the same page here.
I like the witchcraft stuff. Drustvar taught us that there’s not enough witchcraft in the game.
For me it’s like this is way better than them adding in more invasions
They need to get away from that too. I can see your point though.
