World of Warcraft is Forever. As such, THE Dwarf Hunter and THE Bear in the cinematic need names. They also need to roam Azeroth in much the same way that Rexxar and Misha roam Azeroth now.

So this is the fate of Azeoth after Midnight ends? To be a rerun of itself? Maybe there will be new content, but I suspect it will be updates to all the quests and geogrraphy.

Put more CEs on the shop first.
Not sure Iâm sold on this yet but Iâm quite happy for classic enjoyers and intrigued on the direction of the new lore, surnames and dynamic lighting.
Playable ogres would have been a lot cooler than more elves, Iâd honestly be sold to try it for sure if they picked a more beastly race.
I assume this will also have the âdonât cross the streamsâ policy whereby cosmetics earned in Forever will not cross over to retail?

Wouldnât be the first time nameless cinematic characters were made into actual characters.
The Draenei in the BC cinematic was retconed into Maraad, and the Night Elf and Tauren from the classic cinematic are the first followers you get for your garrison in WoD.
I like this idea, but I also really enjoyed the zones of Outland and Northrend. I wonder what the long term plan looks like for WoW Forever. Iâd love to be able to address those expansion zones while still level and gear capped to Vanilla. Hopefully thereâs a path forward toward that without crippling the design intent of Forever.
They said we will stay on Azeroth, so Northrend is not out of the question.
Though, I hope to see more land masses we have not explore.

Please, please add a slider to increase contrast! For those of us that are sight impaired, the side-by-side comparison videos at Blizzcon were hard to watch⌠to the point of me rethinking if I was going to even want to join (even though already pre-purchased)
I agree, but donât name them. The Vanilla and TBC cinematics were meant to showcase possibilities the players could achieve, basically theyâre adventurers in various moments. Have him be called âDwarven Huntsmanâ or something, even give him some fun flavor dialogue maybe, but it should feel like the (immersive, in-character) version of meeting a fellow adventurer in the wilderness. Also, do the same for the kaldorei druid/orc warrior/etc in the trailers. Itâs just a few NPCs.

Not even going to try it. Youâve completely ruined it already by adding PvP to it.
