I was not expecting them to repeat the Vanilla Collector’s Edition digital pets for this. They did though. Forever gets the zergling, panda, and mini-diablo pets from the original CE.
I am not sure how I feel about it, but I do think it is interesting.
3.5/5 things were correct, but then you just had to overstep it with the elves, didn’t ya blizz. 
I was irritated to see the book was not, in fact, an art book.. and just a journal.

They’re updated models, not the exact same ones.
i ordered this today and did not receive a warcraft 3 code and i’m not sure how i receive the ingame items. are those things i receive when i receive the statue and extras in the mail? if so that really sucks since warcraft 3 came out today.

Looks like they are HD versions. Going to be odd to see those and probably a lot more than I see the originals in game.
They are exclusive to Forever only. Those updated models won’t be in Retail from the looks of the article.

Really disappointed to not have blizzcon for 3 years and you give absolutely no news about the next expansion. A preview of the next patch just doesn’t feel like it’s enough for blizzcon hype

I am happy that you can get something for both versions of the game, but I am a firm believer that if it is one version of the game, you should be able to get it in another. So many mounts that are not in Retail that are in Classic
