Given the pvp toy for the tournament, likely 1.2 mil of it.

According to the *info at the end of the article, zero thru the promo dates.

Interesting. So it was bought over 65,000 times?

Well good job to the WoW community regardless.

Also:

“*Now through May 12, 2026, 10:00 am PDT (18:00 BST), Blizzard Entertainment will donate 100% of the purchase price of “The Roofus Pack” digital bundle to Habitat for Humanity less any chargebacks, refunds, transaction fees, and Value Added Taxes (VAT), or other similar taxes paid.”

So allegedly it was 100% to the charity, none to Blizzard.

The Onion is a long running satirical website. Do not take that article seriously.

And congrats on the money for charity! I’m sure it will be put to good use.
