bruh i hate skyriding races. gotta hold the mouse still alot and make tiny directional adjustments. i liked the gob races and doin skids tho. undermined was GOAT and every patch is mid since
I think it was neat as a world quest then they went way to hard into it.
What race requires you to carve? What a strange word to use.
Edit: oh I guess snowboarders and surfers use it.

That makes me sad. I was hoping they would keep adding these to other continents rather than just give us the same continents over and over. The races were something I always looked forward to. I love seen new ones. 
Same, but for my part I was hoping for some dragon riding specific decor or the like. That would’ve been a blast for me and then I would’ve definitely gone back and done 'em!
Now… eh, dunno if I will.
I like doing skyriding races but… I’m also not too fussed about doing all of 'em either. They are good and fun, but also… I honestly don’t like going back to older continents because they are so spread out, and it just feels a bit like a hassle to me to get to 'em.
I dunno what to think really, which feels weird since I do like 'em still.
Would be nice if they rewarded a toy that ported you to a different race around the world.
The devs went totally overboard “improving” something until they wrecked it? I refuse to believe such slander. 
I hate you for making me think this was a Wrath remix or classic.

Well I, for one, am excited the Northrend skyriding races are finally here. I’ve golded every other race in the game for the achievements and can’t wait to see what the Northrend races are like. The only downside is then I’ll be done with every skyriding achievement with no reason to revisit any of it. Hoping Blizzard decides to add a new cup to Shadowlands or BfA at some point.
I never spent the coins from the previous races since Dragonflight lol….
I did enjoy doing the races though. shame the rewards are mediocre

I was thinking about that, and… I was even writing it out when I kinda realized I didn’t want that either. Part of the wonderful thing about these races is that they make you go back and look at the world again through a different lens of flying with skyriding.
Making it a “Portal me to the next race” would be nice and I wouldn’t complain about that at all! But I think you’d also miss out on seeing the world in a way that is kinda nice to see because of these races.
This is kinda why I’m not sure what I think about it, because I like it, I want to do it, but I also don’t want to, and I both want and don’t want to see the world when I have done these races in the past. I feel like this is kinda the problem at hand; these races are good events, but they also don’t quite fit into any of the boxes because as a race, definitely teleport - but as races in the old world to go and re-experience them via this new lens of how to traverse it, portals would also be oppositional to that design element.
They should probably focus on these being either sightseeing events … or races. At which point you could just scrap the [X old contient]-part and just refer to them as different cups. Like imagine a “Hotter than hot”-cup which have races located in different areas around the game that have volcanos.
Of course that’s a terrible example but as a thematic thing to exemplify the idea that it could work. At least make more sense and you could just have a near infinite number of different races and cups around all of Azeroth. All whilst not being limited to one particular continent and you could go quite wild at that point, and also portals would make so much sense in that case.
Hell, at that point you could even make it a community thing wherein people suggest different routes, areas, themes, or the like to make it more involved for folks to participate in… even if folks would just complain about that too, but still. It’d be a way to take these races further whilst also not being limited to continents and you could make it focused more about the races themselves, at which point portals would make perfect sense as well.

The feed the butterflies and inspire the eagles and knock the beasts from the sky WQs are awesome (sincerely) but i miss the races.
At least we have the ground mount mail one in Neighborhoods.
