Why aren’t these announcements in the Housing forum? Not everyone who posts in Housing, looks at this forum.

This is the second major announcement for Housing in 12.1 that you haven’t posted there.

Because this is from a news article everyone has access to right on the front page of the site.

Liking what I see so far. If we can have pet beds to keep our favourite companion pets in the house, what about “Alt chairs” that our alts can sit in, so we can make it a true family home?

Just make sure bonus rolls dupe protection is on the correct database this time.

This is going to force me to play.

I hate myself

Oh I know. But Classic stuff gets posted in Classic GD, as well. Is there no way to make sure it gets posted in the Housing forum, too? If articles can be linked to two different forums, not a third?

y’all reported that the blueprints were sometimes buggy and you could lose your whole design, has this been addressed? i’m too scared to try it without confirmation so maybe i’ll wait for a week… or two. :dracthyr_uwahh_animated:

(oh its Neth! i don’t pay much attention to names but that one i know)

Yay blueprints in case I mess up. Back when I made maps in Unreal, I had various clean builds saved up

It wasn’t designs getting lost, it was all decos being removed. Yes, it was fixed.

Yes that bug has been addressed, but it never hurts to be cautious anyway. The advice currently is to have a main BP that one can always go back to if something messes up.

Pet Beds let you show off your favorite noncombat companion pets

so only the new “noncombat” pets and none of the 5000 ones I already have?

very disappointing…..

according to AI search

Non-combat / Cosmetic Companion Pets: ~54+ pets that are purely decorative (including zone wild captures, faction renown rewards, and system drops).

“You can place up to 100 Pet Beds indoors and up to 25 Pet Beds outdoors.”

Ok…so how many crazy cat ladies are we going to have now?

Non-combat pets meaning you can’t use Hunter pets, it’s not referring to pet battling pets that you summon.

You can use those along with the ones introduced in Midnight that don’t pet battle. There are a few exceptions of certain battle pets that can’t be used, but I think it’s only an isolated select few.

That would be a relief then, I am just misunderstanding it.

Thank you for the update. Looking forward to the changes coming!

That’s a marvelous idea! I hope they can figure out a way to add it - should actually be easier than roaming pets… maybe.

Dear Blizzard,

The Dog House decor items should count as Pet Beds…
