Read all the changes that are coming in the Curse of Ula'tek content update.
Training Grounds have introduced more players to the PvP ecosystem. After the introduction to Battlegrounds versus bots, we’re introducing 3v3 Arenas versus bots to players who want to dip their toes into the Arena and start learning the ropes. To give this new feature a try, select Training Grounds from the Player vs. Player tab in the Group Finder
Thank you, this is a good feature to help more players casually check PVP.
Need more features like this to get players comfortable
I don’t think you can call it a world boss if you take it out of the world. ![]()
Oh man, I need to choose a main!
Are the MW monk notes not showing the 8% larger nerf because it was removed, or are the notes not up to date with the previous ptr changes?
I agree.
It also allows you to test out builds that you wanted to try.
This patch is a huge win for the WoW community. The controversy surrounding this patch is if this content is enough to last for people in the coming months.

Wendys redid their spicy chicken sandwich and it’s now called the “new original spicy chicken sandwich”
There aren’t rules anymore
It’s all chaos
Cats and dogs. Living together in harmony.
Very little of this appeals to me at all.
No interest in helping Zul’jan make a giant mistake, or then cleaning up that mistake in a way that makes Xal’atath stronger, which appears to be what happens.
No interest in yet another borrowed power system.
No interest in doing another gear grind that will be invalidated yet again in another few months.
No interest in dealing with Troll nonsense while Xal’atath is still out there.
No interest in world bosses that aren’t WORLD bosses.
Beyond the Housing updates that seem to have at least one horrific bug already discovered, and whatever side content involves helping Arator chase down Xal’atath… I might as well unsub for the entire Season.
Hi there,
Windwalker got two buffs to Spinning Crane Kick on:
July 21st by 15%
July 23rd by 20%
And now the notes state a 12% nerf without any mention of a buff. Could you elaborate what the net change is going to be from Live?
Really looking forward to this as well ![]()
Why are we getting rid of more burst windows and cooldown usage? Maybe we should all get the same 3 spells and get rid of all stats and just hit stuff at the same speed for the entire fight? This design philosophy sucks. You can easily increase non-CD damage without limiting the burst of CDs.
And what is this?
”Class set armor now inherits the secondary and tertiary stats as well as certain special cantrip effects of items when converted with the Catalyst.”
Does this mean that we now don’t have a way to take different stats other than what the original piece of gear has? What an awful decision.
Technically it’s just a “flex” raiding system and the removal of world bosses. I don’t feel “world bosses” took up that much development time, so it’s kind of dumb to take them out. It would have been received so much better if it was presented differently (because players do want “flex” raids). Who ever decided to lean into mixing it in with “world bosses” and make it a feature about “an evolution on world bosses” missed the mark entirely.
What borrowed power lmao. The island-specific buffs that don’t apply to any content exlcuding 2 proc effects that only work in delves? This ain’t Shadowlands lol
Even with this PvP will continue to flounder as the continous issue with PvP is the players themseleves. The bots can only teach you so much, when the root of the issue is having to play with players that have short fuse attitudes. Toolkit abuse from meta comps and specs. Deranking or smurfing that leads to curb stomp matches, especially in the lower brackets. Along with spending a long time when you join mid season being stomped on due to the gear diffrences that exist between no gear, honor gear and conquest gear.
Followed by guilds and premades that intentionally swing random matches, this is very prevelant in random battlegrounds. That are very coordinated and once again cause a curb stomp graveyard camp.
Blizzard can make all the changes they want, but until they address the player issue, its still going to flounder like usual.
And this, if you scroll down to Altar of Corrosion.
Do you even read what you send lmao. In the first sentence it says “Players can add new Corrosive enhancements to their bracers and belts, tapping into the poisonous powers of Ula’tek while engaging in WORLD-TIER content during Midnight Season 2!”
Bye, troll.
/ignore.
Im an orc get it right
I am liking 90% of what I’ve read. That’s either me getting old, or me tired of my foray into… FF territory
.
Sad to see Val and Naigtal are still going to be a thing. Was seriously hoping that was just a S1 side zone and we’d never have to trudge an alt through there again. Boo.
MM and BM hunter going live in their current state is depressing.
Overwhelming feedback during PTR yet again that the playstyles and tier sets feel bad and all of it ignored again.
