Read the article.
So it’s interesting for many reason first because it’s DnD but also because it is a new setting that will use wow classes and races. For examples I’m curious to see which racial perks they’ll actually give to warcraft races for DnD. Are night elves getting shadowmeld? Interesting to see that death knight seems to be paladin with an oath of the ebon blade.
Also would be great to see a mtg set now that Warcraft is working with wotc.
Talk about scrapping the bottom of the barrel.
Has the Warcraft IP dipped so much now that they have to save Wizards bacon?
Edit: I got corrected o.o
I remember Warcraft used to have its own TTRPG.
Have anything to do with Hasbro/WOTC?
No thanks.
It’s in the very first paragraph at the end of the last sentence.

Thank you. I can skip the prepurchase.
But Kaze, for as little as $1 a day you too can feed a starving Pinkerton.
Kaze hates it. Iam down.
The pinkertons thank you and offer the other boot for polishing.
Which edition of DnD is this for?
5th?
D20 OGL?
White Wolf already published a WoW tabletop RPG book many years ago.
Edit: In 2005.
Guess I’ll have to find out if one of my friends wants it and go halfsies with them so I can snag the code.
Unless we will have another shot at the pre-order goodies.
If you have misgivings about blizzard, you would likely have misgivings about hasbro and wotc. Just saying to not hitch your post to support when its just to spite another.
I like playing TTRPGs, but the pre-order is pretty pricey, I’m already in a Pathfinder game that looks like it will be going a good, long time, and we have a Hero System game teed up, too. I can’t imagine I’ll have the time for a D&D campaign anytime soon.
I’ll pass on those prices but I’ll consider a much much lower price for the in game items only. But this is doa for me.
i want the in game items, how to buy just that
More crapping over the games foundation. Will not be buying slop like this.
I had a feeling this was coming, but I never wanted to jinx it by saying anything.
Seeing this just makes me smile. I’m so genuinely happy!
So it has finally begun…
Now excuse my brain while it immediately starts dreaming about a Warcraft animated series like Vox Machina, a movie, or even a story-driven single-player/co-op RPG with mod support.
Nope. Not getting overhyped.
…Though Blizzard, you’re kind of standing at the doorway already. Might as well walk through it.
