Ascendant Voidcore issue/crafted weapons

Hello all,

I got my 5 Ascendant Void shards and made my Ascendant Void core, but it will not work on my MAX level Radiant Weapon. When I go to add it and hit accept nothing happens. Perhaps its bugged? anyone have this issue?

Reddit post suggests it’s bugged, but nothing confirmed from Blizzard yet.

Same in wont let me upgrade any of the 2 crafter maxed daggers

I am trying to upgrae my Radiance Crafted weapon with a voidcore and it will not consume. Im standing in the correct location in the howling ridge and still nothing. It will ask if im sure this is the one i want to upgrade i select yes and it starts animation but doesnt upgrade weapon. please help.

same buggy issue. I wonder if a single feature this xpac will release without major bugs . . .

i cant upgrade my two hand weapon, ; do i need two ascendant voidcores instead of one?

About 15 minutes ago, we deployed a hotfix for this to all realms.

The issue was – weapons and trinkets crafted before 12.0.5 were not eligible for Ascendant Voidcore upgrades.

Now they are.

Do we know if theres a problem with Radiance Crafted (285ilvl) weapons that have embellishments? I waited a bit for the hotfix to be posted about, but nothing is working on my weapon that i want to upgrade with the Voidcore…

Try logging out and back in. The game may need to re-load your inventory.

Then try unplugging it, waiting 60 seconds, and then going outside or something, because it’s probably still busted.

There’s a very good reason that “turn it off and on again” is the first troubleshooting step. It doesn’t fix every issue but it fixes a lot of them, and is very cheap and easy to perform.

If this doesn’t work, delete the game, unsub, and go to something productive with your time.
