In Midnight, players can take on new player versus player (PvP) challenges in the Slayer’s Rise battleground, outdoor World PvP objectives in the Voidstorm, and Training Grounds to help you get your PvP legs underneath you.

Slayers rise radiates an overwhelming vibe of “I shouldn’t be here, something bad is going to happen and somehow I’m going to end up PVP-flagged if I stay here one second longer than I have to”

Epic battlegrounds are full of premades and it ruins the experience blizzard!
I’m not touching the Slayer’s rise battleground until you address the premade issue.

Fix premade queue syncing in epic BGs before advertising them, thank you!
Also, maybe have a small tutorial for a new BG with a million systems. I think that is just common sense.
Lastly, either reduce the honor Training grounds gives, or increase the Honor randoms give. It is killing random queues even more.

Why would they change it?
It drives people to being gatekept so they give up and buy a wow token to p2w for the pvp cosmetics and mounts instead.
It’s the same reason they have no interest in changing mythic raiding and use the roster boss caused by raid id to leverage wow token sales.
TGs is poop honor. Should just buff random honor.

There aren’t any cosmetics or mounts from epic BGs that you can’t get elsewhere, they only give honor/conquest and honor marks which come from all PvP and are impossible to gatekeep considering you can just queue for whatever. They give no progress towards anything rated so there is nothing you can p2w for in there.
Since the original discussion on this was that it was meant to be an expansion of Comp Stomp, does that mean we won’t be getting Comp Stomp anymore? I only ask because the tuning and rewards are completely different and considerably worse than comp stomp, with no conquest, no brawl credit, no contender boxes, no marks of honor, and seemingly less honor given every match compared to the old version. If that is intended I’d honestly rather have Comp Stomp back as a rare event that is actually worth doing.

Hopefully they bring training grounds to epic bg’s in the future and boost the rewards for all training grounds to what they are in comp stomp or even better.

Good. The best way to get any of this stuff should not be killing bots.
Compstomp on occasion is whatever, and as a brawl I am fine with the rewards. Training grounds should give next to nothing IMO. A dripfeed of honor at best.
You want it to not be worth playing? That’s definitely a good idea for PvP, what with its overwhelming popularity.

They have addressed it, and have repeatedly affirmed the position that communication with people isn’t against the ToS. The only thing that could be against it is if it is automated in some way, but that’s an entirely different thing.

There’s nothing to “fix” as they aren’t broken.
i look forward to the open world version being controlled by alliance 90% of the time like back when WG was introduced. also looking forward to facing the same ebg queue syncs dominating the random version for another year and a half. woo, totally awesome for sure (for alliance that is).
It exists, therefore fixing it would imply making it more difficult to accomplish, or changing the ToS to outlaw it going forward.
No ‘Random’ game-mode should be dominated by people trying their hardest to circumvent the randomness of it. Play wargames or something.
Even though there are Premades, I’m an Epic BG lover. If the new BG is out can’t wait to try it!
Don’t know much about it but hopefully it’s at least not like what Wintergrasp had become like 90% of the time.
