Haranir Armor Issues and Fixes Coming

Throughout this first day of players experiencing the new Haranir race, we’ve joined many of you in recognizing a plethora of issues with armor positioning on the Haranir. While the vast majority of issues are individually minor, previously leading us to schedule fixes for later-coming patches, we recognize that the total number of issues is large enough that we should increase our urgency.

As a top priority, we are fixing many issues with Haranir armor attachments and armor visibility mistakes as soon as possible. We will implement these fixes via hotfix in the current version (12.0.1) over the next week or so.

We will continue to focus all necessary attention on this. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Glad to hear it, but how did this feedback just get ignored on beta/PTR before launch? There was enough time to fix it all before release.

Based on the the massive amount of reporting in Beta and on PTR not only is this quote a lie, but amazingly disrespectful to the players testing your product… for free for you!

Happy to see this, I thought it was going to end up like the half-cooked devourer spec just left there to dry.

This line should tell you everything you need to know.
They knew it was a problem and were going to fix it later lol.

I kinda like the chainkini having no chain.

So only after it’s gone live and people complain about the money they spent you listen.

This was reported as a bug months ago in beta.

It’s also peak comedy that you flat out admit Blizzard was aware of the issues and you were actively ignoring them and pushing them off. How bloody out of touch are you that you can’t recognize clipping is a huge concern to the playerbase for any playable race, let alone a brand new one?

You really should have read this post over before publishing, because you painted the entire development team in a terrible light. The light that you simply do not care about quality until we’re in your faces demanding refunds.

Yep! Better hurry and focus all attention on that -lol - new ELF.

I just love the lack of urgency like they had in BFA to keep people playing and having fun when in THAT expansion alone we got 10 allied races. 10. And we’ve only gotten ONE race on expansions after.

Oh I am glad. Regardless of how late it is, at least it will be fixed. Thank you. It is appreciated.

Bugs and poor performance are acceptable until enough people start complaining about them.

Does this have anything to do with the haranir scaling issue? Like the two haranir I race changed are different sizes in game. This one which race changed from Zandalari is the height of a zandalari, but the other one was night elf and is the height of a night elf (or a smidge shorter its hard to fully tell.)

I’m gonna cry if my tallboy haranir gets smalled.

Lash Out - Increases critical strike damage by 1%. Increases critical strike healing by 1%

How about buffing their passive racial to match dwarfs 2% Crit Bonus

You had 7 months of Beta to do this. 7 months we reported on these issues. 7 months. It is unacceptable that this made it to the Live game. Ridiculous.

There is no point in a Beta when you do not listen to feedback. This game is a waste of money. If you devs were at any other job you would lose that job immediately.

Another bug with them as well is they are missing voicelines for “Can’t cast that.” “Can’t attack that.” or it seems like any personal voiceline that the character uses when they can’t do something. The game defaults to a generic error noises since there’s no voice lines linked for them.

One man’s bug is another man’s feature.

Arcane Acuity
Increases critical strike chance by 1%.

Can we improve that one too?
I’m asking on behalf of all (?) the Blood Elves

Is it normal Haranir playable characters can’t use the error speech / sounds? I checked several times in my options and “error speech” is selected but the Haranir playable characters don’t say anything when they should say something. :frowning:

please if the player choose the claw feet dont hide their claws, that is what normal feet are for

On the subject of Haranir bug fixes, any chance we could also see rep fixes for Haranir soon?

Horde reps like Orgrimmar, Darkspear Trolls, and Thunderbluff aren’t appearing on Horde Haranir characters, so you can’t get any rep with them. Also some reps, like the Kalu’ak in WotLK, disappear from the rep pane when logging out. This happened when Earthen were first made playable.

More info in the Bug Report section of the forum:

Thank you!
