Not for me but good feature. I hope it brings a lot of people to the game.

Good system. I’ve already wasted way too much time setting my house up

Probably the most impressive system they have ever added to the game

So far I’m loving it. Just need to add the ability to display collections, and achievements somehow. Maybe have pets and alts hanging out as well?

Will you announce this again tomorrow so I remember housing is a new feature? I keep forgetting. Don’t hear much about it.

they really are trying to PUSH this housing stuff on people im wondering if less and less people are starting to do it or something seems odd

The more likely explanation is that they are trying to reach outside of their standard audience so they are advertising the new feature more aggressively

Pretty much, they are trying to make sure the people that would enjoy housing but dont play WoW will hear about it

No, advertising to your own players this hard shows that a feature that took far too many resources isnt getting utilized enough besides a few doll players playing the sims

Of course that is how your negative point of view would look at it.

But blue posts get aggregated across a lot of different websites, so it isnt meant for people currently playing…it just happens to be where they post such things

Housing is amazing! Love everything Blizzard has done with it so far and looking for more decor and designs.

I wonder if the same people who hate housing spent hours hunting down pets to place in the AC Shadows Hideout.

What do you expect your playerbase to do in these dollhouses without basic functionality. Did you design these player homes specifically for the Moon Guard RP server?

Collect things. That’s about 50% of what WoW has been for awhile now between mounts, mogs, pets, titles, toys, and achievements. This just adds another thing to collect to the list.

And at the end of the day, housing is far more interactive than most of the other things we collect

Post your house. Im salivating at the idea

Look, I get it. The RPers on Moon Guard are throwing a party because they finally have a place to sit in chairs or consummate their in-game marriages. But for those of us who aren’t into digital interior design, the current Midnight Player Housing reveal feels like a massive waste of dev time.

In real life, my house isn’t a museum; it’s a tool. For example, It has a kitchen because I need to cook things to eat and a garage because I need to fix things in my crafting workshop. If I’m going to invest time into a permanent pillar of the game, it needs to provide basic functionality, not just a place to display 1,200 pieces of clutter I don’t want to hoard.

And hopefully they will eventually add some functionality, although I dont see it being anything beyond target dummies and crafting tables

Unrelared, does anyone know where I can get that Horde banner shield thing from the picture?

I need it.

Ooooo… someone’s mad…
