Season one of Midnight begins the week of March 17, and with it, players will take their first steps into the Voidspire and Dreamrift raids with the March on Quel’Danas raid released shortly after. Check out the full release schedule and preview of the bosses you’ll encounter.
Why is story mode always delayed so late?
What the hell is that?!
It’s got half bug wings lol.
And a hoof, and extra arm on it’s back?
Presumably to delay non-raiders getting the heroic enchanted crest. But, it is just stupid.
I’m guessing it’s one of the nightmare creatures from the Dreamrift. A mix of half formed dreams turned into reality.
Very nice! Looking forward to a new raid and Mythic+ season.
All that content is cool, but it’s completely ruined by how you operate and run the game as mobile game choreslop.
It saddens me that this is another xpac I have to sit out on because some developers are too stubborn and want to sink this ship.
It’s described in the Dungeon Journal if you want to know.
Again I ask: why are you guys delaying story mode raids?
It doesn’t give any loot, and its sole purpose is to let people experience the main questline. Especially with how prone YouTubers are to spoiling crap in thumbnails.
that is, hopefully, totally going to be a mount
you know exactly why: they want you to play the game with people
There is still an incentive to raid with other people for loot, but I’d like to option to experience the full story before delving into endgame and dealing with lfg
I second this. I understand getting the crafting reagent as a possible reason for timegating story mode, but that’s still a pretty weak reason. Just give us story mode right out the gate so we can enjoy the story at our pace. It was extra annoying in Undermine and Karesh with so much story content being gated behind finishing the raid.
I like these single raid bosses only 10 -20 minute run and you are done . Ofcourse it will take a lot more time in the first week depending on your group
Dreamrift not having story mode is a degree of “new on other players’ time” that’s been extinct since the launch of TWW. It’s literally the first instanced core story content since that time that requires other players to see its conclusion. That said, I can concede that there’s a real fear that “no one” will be in queue for it if the single boss raid has story mode.
I hope it’s a patchwerk gear check where the gear level needed is a prerequisite to queue. It’s story. Story in modern WoW, post-dragonflight doesn’t get to say “stop there” really. It definitely shouldn’t stop you because of someone else.
