Currently, the only way for players to acquire the formula for the Runed Arcanite Rod, a necessity for leveling Enchanting past 320, is to buy it from a vendor. The issue is that the vendor has a limited stock of 1, which periodically refreshes. Players (and possibly bots) are camping this vendor 24/7 to buy out the stock of formulae and resell them on the auction house for extortionate prices (90g+). I have the money for it, but I refuse to reward this kind of behavior. Blizzard, please make the vendor’s stock unlimited.

So rather than jumping down their throats every time they DO show up and post, maybe learn to appreciate what does get done. You actually got a “we’re handling it” on this one so why is that not good enough? The more time they spend here trying to break it down into layman’s terms for peanut knights is less time they have to actually fix things.

I think the giant point you’re missing in pursuit of being obtuse and obnoxious is that the reason they are asking for the fix is not to quiz the devs, its because the problem cited as solved is still unsolved: the recipe is still not available. Writing a post takes less than 5 minutes. It’s like you don’t actually know how anything works
While the giant point you’re missing is that if they explain what they’re doing to counter the abuse, people will just circumvent that too. And then it’s back to square one.

Still waiting. I spent 2+ hrs last night spamming a macro but I’m no match for the bot/addon army. I could have used that time to actually play wow and I’m WAY behind in leveling due to RL stuff. Currently at lvl 63. Feels horrible.
Careful, there are griefers here who ask for hots then kill the vendor making you unfriendly with cenarion circle (for “assisting” in the death of the vendor). Not only does this block you from being able to interact with the vendor (cutting competition) this will also screw you up in outlands because you need to talk to some cenarion circle npcs.
It helps them because they want to kill the vendor on their alt anyway to make the plans respawn. Doing that and blocking other players around from being able to interact insures that they get to hog all the plans
It’s a huge headache to recover from this if you are griefed, the bots just want a quick buck and don’t care about the player experience.
