Wait, what? Let me test that…

Edit to add: I am able to log into characters on my expired accounts.

I can’t face setting up everybody’s talents. I haven’t even finished the last round of changes.

Ayo i’m back long enough to get that sexy Anubis armor. :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated:

Hasn’t worked for my other license. What am I missing?

Did you get an error message? All I can say is I logged into a couple of different expired accounts on this bnet and was able to open a character on each. One character I’m playing atm. Just because, but I don’t expect to continue by paying a sub on that account when this event expires.

And I’m going to predict it was a massive, massive mistake to implement this without fixing the “there is no loot” bug first.

Not able to login to characters on my oldest account that was active through TBC, WotLK and Cata.

" Welcome back
Your dreams were your ticket out
Welcome back
To that same old place that you laughed about

Well, the names have all changed
Since you hung around
But those dreams have remained
And they’ve turned around

Who’d have thought they’d lead you
(Who’d have thought they’d lead you)
Back here where we need you?
(Back here where we need you?)

Yeah, we tease him a lot
'Cause we got him on the spot
Welcome back

Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back
Welcome back, welcome back" - John Sebastian

That moment you realize Welcome Back Kotter aired over a half century ago.

I’m having a hard time convincing myself to log in on my paid account, let alone any old worn out inactive ones. I don’t even remember the passwords anyway.

It’s an opportunity to vendor or transfer all the inventory on your inactive accounts.

If you need to move stuff to/from alts on unsubbed accounts to warbank, do it now.

I get the usual resubscribe to play this character over level 20. It even tries to see if I have a token available. I can go into past transactions and see eons ago when I cancelled the sub, so there was a reoccurring subscription on this account once.

I normally would expect to see that on an unsubscribed account. What I’m seeing allows me to log in to and play characters over level 20 on an account that expired a few years ago. I was running dungeons to the point where I got bounced out of DF dungeons at 73 (huge xp gain, including an xp token that dropped off a boss). And then I see the character can’t queue for TWW dungeons unless I want to invest money in gear, because the ilvl is too low. Guess I’m done with that project.

They announced this Jan 29-Feb1 event this morning.

Once there was a way to get back homeward…

wish me luck, y’all. gonna try and get my spouse to come back for the weekend while we got nothing else to play. :folded_hands: :face_holding_back_tears:

(after listening to me bellyache nonstop about every little thing lol oh man…)

Amazing how there is nothing about the poorly received and very pathetic Pre-patch event.

Amazing quality Blizzard - even the Welcome Back Weekend doesn’t work, trying to log in on an inactive account and get the ‘must have a subscription’ message.
