As we previously indicated, soon after launching the Burning Crusade pre-expansion patch, we could see that PvP needed an additional increase in rate of gearing. Since some players have already purchased gear, we decided to make the following changes:
The current active increase to Honor gains is now 150% (was 100%).
Added level 51-60 versions of the “For Great Honor” (Horde) and “Concerted Effort” (Alliance) quests.
These quests award 400 honor (at level 60) when handed in, as well as experience for players from levels 51-59. Please note that lower-level characters receive less Honor than higher-level characters, with the Honor reward increasing at each level. When the Dark Portal opens, these quests will no longer be available, and the level 61-70 versions of these quests will become available.
The changes above are now live on all Burning Crusade realms.
can we get a confirmation that there is not going to also be a discount on items? I want to spend my honor without fear of missing out on cheaper prices.
So because some people had the luxury of farming bg’s all day while others were either at work or had other events going on, rather than discounting the items like you said you would you instead just increase the buff and add in a quest because “well people already have bought gear at full price”.
Like…Atleast we got something but be so for real right now. Should’ve just reduced the price as well for people with alts.
I think you guys forgot something. Making the gear cheaper. Also who wanted a quest that requires marks from all the BGs, including one that isn’t even open yet?
So again people wanted gear cost be nerfed and instead no one listened to the players? wow my tower cap went from 84 honor to 105 thats save me a tower cap every 5 towers oooooo saving me so much time there.
The whingers actually got their way and denied everyone not them from getting any retroactive benefit. Absolutely astounding capitulation.
You don’t understand. That wouldn’t have been fair to the 50 degens that grinded 15k honor out immediately and spent it before the announcement yesterday.
you added in a quest to help gearing that goes away after tbc release? the quest that requires a eots mark that we cant get? just lower the cost of the gear
