Some of my guildies boosted their new characters, but has anyone been able to boost an existing character from Vanilla?

Can confirm; the Boost service has been working as intended since our latest fix for it a few minutes ago.

Not everyone has riding skill still.

Is that part of the boost? Just for the boosted character?

You get 40 mount skill

Yes, all boosted characters should come with the standard speed riding skill but my buddy does not have it.
