Heads up! Some of the décor rewards you may have earned by pre-purchasing the Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred expansion are automatically added to your collection, while some are not.
Specifically, the three promotional items that make up the Chess Set décor (chess pieces, chess board, and game in progress sign) will appear in the bags or in-game mail for players who qualify to receive them.
Please note: starting tomorrow, the chess set décor will be added to the bags of the first WoW character you log into after you’ve qualified for the promotion. If your bags are full these will be mailed to that character. You will not receive them on any other characters.
oh, i get it, it’s probably a giant chess board floor thing like in karazhan? am i wrong? guess i could look at the launcher or wowhead and probably find out.
or if it’s actually a realistically sized board and it has all the little individual pieces that’s pretty danged cool.

edit: i see i guess it’s a normal small board. wonder if it’s a pop up window in the game to play the chess game with it or how that works.
I saw the trailer for the new expansion, as an OG diablo player. Maaaaan it hit me in the feels… I felt old too LOL. Seeing mephisto back and feeling like a back to the old roots felt so good. How’s the monetisation though if anyone played D4 so far? Can play without it and get enough good stuff and good looking stuff in-game?
