Once more, the Bronze Dragonflight has discovered growing disturbances in the timeways, with several rapidly intersecting our own! Timewalk through a previous expansion each week for 10 consecutive weeks, beginning and ending with the Shadowlands. This grand tour through World of Warcraft's past delivers six new Timewalking Dungeons for players to undertake—De Other Side, Spires of Ascension, Plaguefall, Necrotic Wake, Sanguine Depths, and Halls of Atonement.
As if there’s not enough FOMO crap going on at the moment…
If you guys would make a really interesting expansion you wouldn’t need to keep coming up with all these alternatives.
Dec 2nd? Really? Yall want us to do EA for Housing, And Timeways? Wow, ok.
Not even a new mount either , just recolor.
What happened to the Dragonflight team?
Gravewing mount recolor ooohhhh so original… Must’ve taken months to get it done.
I’m griping about something too!
This reminded me of Suicide Squad’s Harley Quinn: “I am walking back and forth!”
Starting and ending with Shadowlands is such a troll move.
Well, I hope the transmogs are nice because the mounts aren’t too impressive.
I have to agree. It’s clear they once again cut short an expansion (what is that now like 3 in a row? … this time though, even if they do this now at the end of every expansion, is kind of nuts since they have a few overlapping time sensitive events and that is kind of bonkers lol.
What I’ve kind of gathered from Blizzard’s development strategy is to constantly give us things to do to keep people wanting to stick around for the next thing. It’s kind of a good/bad thing I guess where it’s nice to constantly get something new to check out, but also frustrating if you’re thinking “Hey, maybe I don’t have anything to do with WoW for a few weeks and I’ll check out this oth–Oh, no I guess I won’t be”
REVERT THE NERF THAT WAS MADE TO BADGE GAINS LAST OCTOBER
I doubt ill be able to buy all the new mounts before the end of TT and I even have enough to buy 1 atm.
i had a modest stockpile a couple of years ago but ran through the badges to get as much as i could once the timeways started to become regular. But now that im out and im still missing a lot of timewalk transmogs I find it hard to start farming them again especially considering the costs and the inability to get 500 badges per toon like before.
What’s new about timewalking dungeons and repeating Legion with remix?
It would be kind of kewl to get something new to check out imo. That’s kind of the problem. They are cutting short the new stuff like TWW and retaining subs with reused content.
A better phrasing for this is that it’s something to do. Turbulent was pretty good for leveling alts last time it came around, then again remix is also really good at that. Some of the stuff (like that demon invasion thing they did before) is what I was thinking of when I first posted.
Yeah, I’m with you on this. All of these things they throw out aren’t super innovative, it’s low end designed content meant to give people something to do because the people who seem to really enjoy WoW enjoy that kind of stuff. They’re not playing Retail because it’s a fun RPG game to play through and experience the story or whatever, they like to log in and have a punchlist of things to do.
I love it! plenty of things to do before Pre-patch and Midnight, thank you Blizzard
Nice. This is probably the first expansion in history where there’s never been a content drought. It’s so much going on. Beta, remix, PTR, housing is about to be released, and now the turbulent timeways. It’s nice to know we have options.
I have 0 interest in even more recolors of Shadowlands things, and forcing us to buy all but one of them with TW badges? Hard pass. This expansion has been the fastest my guild has ever stopped playing and seems to be ending on a whimper instead of a bang.
Where did you lock up the Dragonflight team? We need to free them.
None of them work at Blizzard anymore. Dragonflight was the expansion where they really needed to put in effort, otherwise WoW might have been shut down after the disaster that was SL.
Now the developers got too comfortable, again. Just like with SL.
