Back when we had real villians.

Second place? Boooo so close!

Seriously though, can you please bring back disenchanting or stop letting people roll need on things that aren’t their primary armour type. It’s gotten so bad that I’ve given in as well, watch the rolls at the end and try to counter ninja whoever’s doing it if it’s not their armour type or even usable. Lookin at you mages with strength rings.

Something like that is a terrible solution made by players instead of the company that governs the masses. I however DO appreciate that X post about Classic being a pain to work on. I wish it was posted here on the forums instead, so the average Joe Schmo like me can read it without searching around for answers.

Trash can.. Almost ever class is getting nerfed.. DPS will have to deal with even more powerful healing and we are getting freaking NERFED.. Oh wait, I forgot you guys don’t give a F about PVP.

TOT will be dead in 3 weeks.. All that work for NOTHING! HAHAHAHA

I’m actually pretty happy with my ret “nerf”. Oh man how am I going to deal with not having to waste a GCD removing magic from someone!?

Thursday release + holidays = my guild’s progression is screwed til January.

The 9th is a Tuesday

The raid is coming out on Thursday like every other raid in Classic.

Turns out I’m the one that had the dates mixed :face_with_peeking_eye:

They really don’t care about classic players at all. They should just release it after xmas if they can’t release it earlier than this. A lot of people that play classic are going to be gone for the holidays and raiding is going to be awful the first 3 weeks of the launch….

Disappointing to see this release so close to the holidays. Quick way to crush a lot of excitement and hype when progression is split by two weeks of dead lockouts. My guild and I were super excited for this one too, bummer.

Thanks for making everyone struggle to fill raids over holidays for absolutely no reason.

No, I don’t. The patch is dropping on the 9th. The raid is opening on the 11th.

You’re correct. I admit to not having clicked the full article tab since it didn’t seem to matter, especially when they say that MF arrives on the 9th. Once I did a bit more digging on the new linked page I found it, where it does in fact say the 11th.

Why?! Why, Blizzard? Don’t you know who is playing classic? A bunch of moms and dads. I mean for Christ sake, there is a whole tier of guilds called “dad-core”. Why would you release this right before the holidays? You have just screwed so many of the people who are playing classic, because you guys can’t see 2 inches in front of your noses at any point. Sorry, you can’t plan, now we all pay the price, because there goes at least two raid lock outs. Gotta hit those 4Q numbers though, right?

there’s still 2 bosses in an unplayable state, are you going to surprise us with an american thanksgiving PTR or do we just pray that it’s killable on the 11th?

You’re acting like these nerfs came out of nowhere, but Blizzard literally told us back in Phase 1 that the buffs were temporary and adjustments would follow. Every class got juiced early to keep leveling and entry content lively, and the blue post spelled out that tuning would continue across the expansion.

So calling it “trash can” now is just ignoring the roadmap we’ve had for months. Phase 2 nerfs are calibrated for Throne of Thunder, and when Siege of Orgrimmar lands in Phase 3, there’ll be another round. That’s not Blizzard being random that’s Blizzard following through on exactly what they said they’d do.

If you want to flame them, at least pick a moment where they’re actually breaking their word. This time, they’re sticking to the plan.

2 days to rush through the Isle of Thunder content and then show up to a raid that has a high likelihood of being rushed out the door or filled will bugs. Not what I was expecting.

It’s ok to miss an internal deadline, it means nothing if the content meets the expectations of players. In this circumstance, yall missed the mark.

Just push raid to January, give everyone time to enjoy this reboot and allow the devs to work their magic on a non rushed schedule. You have time to make this right.

If you are unsure in the slightest, do a in game poll to judge. It’s not that hard to send a email or create some way in game to garnish feedback of player base.

Why would you release a raid in mid-December? This makes it incredibly difficult to have everyone there for the best part of classic, the progression. You should really rethink this release window and push it to the new year.

Phase pacing isn’t supposed to drag on like this. The standard cadence is about 12 weeks per phase, and Phase 1 of MoP Classic already stretched to 4 months and 18 days. That’s way past the healthy window, and it’s exactly why guild momentum and player retention are already in the gutter.

Delaying Throne of Thunder until January wouldn’t “give people time to enjoy the reboot it would just make the situation worse. Rosters are already thinning, raid attendance is shaky, and players are burning out on stale farm content. Holding back progression even longer would accelerate that collapse.

Classic thrives on rhythm. Fresh raids and PvP seasons every 3 months keep guilds engaged and players invested. The content isn’t being rushed it’s overdue. Blizzard should have pushed ToT out over a month ago!
