If you think those models are not up-to-date enough for your viewing pleasure, you are free to obtain one of the other literal thousands of other mounts.

Assuming I can get the entire set just logging in every day then may be neat. Doubt I’ll get the mount, but I have the original since TBC so…good there.

Can you farm this mount on alts? Or are they nerfing this like they did with brewfest?
Holiday and short-term event mounts should not have restrictions from alt farming.
