I was really excited for Legion Remix, but it’s disappointing and such a bad decision that we can’t unlock the additional artifact appearances.
The artifact forge is missing from Order Halls, which means no hidden skins, no Mythic+/PvP tints, and no Balance of Power questline progress. Only the base appearances are available, which feels like a wasted opportunity for players who missed Legion or want to complete their collections.
Legion was all about the Artifact weapon fantasy. Remix could have been the perfect time to let players revisit that content and earn the appearances they never got — especially since some of them (like the hidden skins) were just grinds, not skill-based challenges.
I mean this is dealbreaker for many people. Now i just dont see the point of playin remix if i cant use it as a opportunity to unlock skin while doing meaningfull content instead of having to travel between current zone and broken shore every day in order to do daily or weekly boss
Remix isnt out yet and blizzard never made any statement about the overall artefact skin other tha the mage tower so how is this beating a dead horse? Do you know how to use that expression?
Once again this isnt even about the MT which is the one that had like 100 thread abiut it over the years.
Like, I can get on board with the idea of unlocking artifacts through Remix as a basic concept. But the 4 appearances that would even be available will be full of holes where you can’t (or shouldn’t be able to) unlock in Remix anyway.
you should just be able to buy them with currency. Thats what they did in Mop remix for some crazy things. I dont know what you shouldnt be able to get them
Dealbreaker? its not like you can’t go get it outside of remix? maybe it was for intended purpose that it’s this way? did you even see what else is being given to us in remix? maybe stop rp’ing a troll?
Repeat # 41,719: Blizzard decided not to add solo challenge mode appearances into remix. They won’t be making an appearance. People are free to get over it.
Why not just max your toon during remix, then migrate it to live?
Profit.
You can literally speed run reps. Full clear all the raids and what not. Get everything done. Then your toon is primed to just do it in retail with minimal effort.
I will never understand how lack of artifact appearances are a deal breaker for people with the amount of other things remix offers.
(Also can’t wait to see all these said people after remix having done all the things in remix)
In Legion Remix, you’ll have a great opportunity to obtain Artifact appearances that you haven’t already. This includes:
All of the original Artifact tints
All of the upgraded Artifact tints
All of the ‘Valorous’ Artifact tints
The ‘hidden’ appearance for every Artifact
The ‘hidden’ tints that come from PvE activities
For example, in Legion Remix, you’ll earn original tint #2 by returning one of the Pillars of Creation, as part of the Legion campaign. You’ll earn original tint #3 by recovering the Light’s Heart and bringing it to your Class Order Hall. You’ll earn original tint #4 by completing the first major campaign effort for your Class Order Hall.
The ‘Valorous’ tints require the Balance of Power questline, and then the Unleashed Monstrosities achievement, and so on.
Notably, you don’t instantly see the Artifact appearances on your Timerunner character in Legion Remix, due to how the transmog UI works. But if you log out and back in, or log out and look for the appearance on a different character, it will be there and available for transmog.
Every artifact skin except mage tower skins are still earn-able in retail. In fact if you start today you could probably earn almost all the artifact skins except the heavily time gated/RNG ones before remix starts.
I’m curious, how do you know this? I thought Remix wasn’t suppose to start until next month? Also, if you want something that is not in the remix, can’t you go do all the content in Chromie Time?
