Face off against nine bosses split across three raid zones over the course of Midnight Season 1.
Sindorei
Kaldorei
Rendorei
Shaldorei
UNITE!
I suspect the Harronir are replacing the Kaldorei this time. ![]()

So … looks like 3 seasons will be the standard going forward.
I hope the release cadence is as follows.
Week 1: The 6 Boss Raid and the 1 Boss Raid Normal and Heroic.
Week 2: The 6 Boss Raid and the 1 Boss Raid Mythic. The Two Boss Raid Normal and Heroic.
Week 3: The Two Boss Raid Mythic.
A “Quel’Danas”-raid?
I wasn’t expecting that, and of course we know nothing of any of these yet so… no reason to be hyped or disappointed, but… a raid-siege on Quel’Danas does sound interesting I have to say.
Shindu fallah na
Sin’dorei
Anar’alah
Shindu Sin’dorei
all these raids are the same season
I’m not pulling any punches; a two boss raid on Quel’danas sounds disappointing. Blizzard fit an eight boss raid into less than half of Quel’danas in Burning Crusade (Sunwell Plateau).
Make raids accessible again! Get rid of mythic lock out the one thing holding so many guilds back!
M+ is accessible at all levels…pvp is accessible at all levels…only lfr-heroic are accessible at all levels…instead of forcing guilds to maintain a large roster just get rid of the lockout! Let people pug after afew weeks of the patch! If we want to bash our heads in the wall with pugs let us…its good for the community and getting people introduced to mythic raid content to see if there interested to then apply to guilds and be part of an organized team! Open dat stuff up!
all these raids are just a single raid, time gated and spread out.
I’m wondering if this is just expansion release marketing spin, or are they doing this because they’re not going to even bother with 3 actual full raids in Midnight and only deliver 2 split up like this?
It’s on brand for Blizzard to split up less overall raids in an expansion and still spin it as giving players MORE RAIDS
I’m sure it will be 3 seasons but that is not what this post is saying.
All 3 of these raids are season 1.
Yes, this is how the pessimist can describe it if it makes you feel better.
Personally I love it. Smaller raids are way more digestible. I hope we see more solo boss raids.
And it helps with the longevity of the theme. Do not get burned out on say Void for 5 months.
