We’re taking the transmogrification system to a new level with an overhaul to its functionality. Save to gear slots, style multiple outfits, and dress for the moment anywhere your adventures take you in Azeroth.
Blizz you are cookin’ with these new options!
Hell yea so excited!
Can we lift the armor type restrictions? There are so many trading post armors now that fit everyone it seems pointless to keep everything still armor restricted.
And all the fashionistas stood up and clapped ![]()

More options, more shopping, and I need to see which clothing I’m gonna wear around in my new player house. ![]()
The true end game content!
Take my money
Edit: now with the released system seems like blizz did indeed take my above feed back ![]()
Nice, but I am sticking to what I have.
That image is of a paladin with a leather chest mogged, so… are we getting cross-proficiency mogging? There’s not much of an argument against it when there are multiple cosmetic outfits released in the last few years that resemble plate, cloth, or civilian wear.
While you’re at it, give warlocks a transmog slot for their felguard’s weapon, and make its default model the Mythic Hellrender model (the one used when it casts Guillotine) so I don’t have to look at the stupid vanilla axe model that is its current default.
Void elves losing 1 of their racials between void storage going away and transmog restructuring. What losers.
But they gain the option to be a DH now!

Cosmetic head slots please darlings.
They will because you have to pay for an outfit slot now.
Very nice QOL update for people who love transmog. I can’t think of a single negative thing about this. Win/Win it looks like.
Not sure how much I’ll utilize the Outfit Slots, I might play around just to see when the times comes, but it’ll be nice to not have to retransmog every time I change gear
This is one of my favorite new updates to an existing feature, heck, it’s likely my favorite feature altogether outside of Housing.
Love this.
Hope they have an option to attach outfits to gear sets.
No? You still have to pay for outfits and unlock outfit slots. So the fee reduction will apply to those.
I’m not seeing any category that goes along with the change people have claimed is coming, which is separate outfits for forms, like Worgen/Human and Drac/Visage.
Did that not exist and people made it up or did it get scrapped?
Well…that’s a nice little change. But it’s nowhere near what it should be.
Should be free, seriously.
