I am traditionally a PvE player, and it is my preference, however in this instance I agree with you. For the health of the server PvP would make more sense, and I’ve stated as much on that thread. If it has to be one server - PvP would be the way to go.

PVE players are the ones who don’t suffer from the latency. What on earth is blizzard doing. OCE players are asking for PvP, why is the such disrespect to their customer base. Read these forums. It’s literally only people asking for PvP server.
Please change this to a PvP Server.
OCE PvE players already have the option to play on the US west coast server, which will have a far more healthy population and already has a good enough latency for OCE.
This server is just going to die as there is no reason for people to play on it.

Just confirmed it will be pvp instead. As much as I normally like PvE, I think this is a good move. For population health.

I agree, but - they did at least listen and came to the party. Could have been much worse. I really was getting ready to cancel my sub (put my money where my mouth is). Now I’ll be dropping $$ on extending to a 6 mth sub the moment I see an OCE realm for fresh online…
Mate - I was in the denial stage of grief up until this morning. I love Vanilla and TBC, I will sink hundreds or thousands of hours into them again very happily, but I won’t play at International latencies…

Chiming in to politely request a switch from PvE to PvP.
- Shadowstrike was more populated than Penance.
- Arugal ('19) was more populated than Remulos.
The majority of oceanic people like to kill each other. It’s a cultural thing.

Yup - Confirmed. It will now be PvP. I’m thinking possible they’ll release both or all three types… The way it was communicated seems a little cheeky…
