Goblins should simply do what they do, organize a little crime and create a small illegal business from it.
Goblins need a currency exchange where ALL currencies can be “weighed” and exchanged for other currencies AT ALL TIMES.
Once the Goblins have infiltrated the banking and currency systems they can easily set up a vendor or two who can rotate in goods from events past and present.
We’ve got the organizations in place to accomplish this. Let the Goblins do their thing and have everyone benefit.
unfortunately i’m already burned out. i was gonna stick it through to get a set or two in the event but 3 freaking straight weeks for just the first one? nah i’m already out the door lol
my sympathies to the collectors who will want every single set along with any other rewards they don’t have already. godspeed
Just because you believe “it is always screwed up,” does not, in any way, mean this is not intentional. It very much is intentional. It is their MO to make things as timegated as possible since at least the launch of shadowlands.
I am 50/50 on them buffing acquisition after the fact.
They didnt need to make this so grindy, people are going to be playing the raid anyway and getting the tokens, so why make the requirement so high? Weekly’s are about as fun as playing frogger on i-95 at rush hour.
Blue post. Realistically, you can do all the events every day for ~3 weeks to get the first one, but it eventually becomes uncapped so you can grind out the rest with a discount. 100 tokens for the first 2 sets, then 20 each after that.
Imho, I agree with OP. Should be uncapped from the beginning.
Rng is already a timegate in itself. The fact that we spend a few hours a week raiding should be good enough of a gate.
The fact that joe bob will run the raid 50 time’s in a row to get his full tier set sooner doesnt mean most peolple need a weekly allowance of progression.
It did a long time ago. Why do you think the game feels so empty?
I play on Silvermoon, one of the original servers. A “Full” server and prime time sitting in Dornogal you get maybe a couple dozen people hanging around bank and sitting on their yaks?
I remember Dalaran back in the Wrath days and we are lucky players have no collision detection because otherwise you wouldn’t have been able to walk through the streets. Literally hundreds of people shoulder to shoulder just filling up the city. Even the last expac that I played, BFA, there was a lot more people around. It was kind of shocking, and a little sad, coming back for TWW and seeing how empty the game is.
Yeah the breakdown happened a long time ago. You would think the devs would start catering a little to those they have left.
It will never stop amazing me how so many people complain about doing things in a game they play. It is NOT needed. If you do not want to do it then don’t. It’s not like you NEED these things to progress in the game. Not to mention the events to get these things look fun, though fun is subjective. My point is if you do not want to do the thing, then don’t.
