Whether you're a lifelong player, or a new adventurer, this is your chance to relive the nostalgia, connect with other community members, and immerse yourself in Warcraft like never before. Don't miss out on this final wave of free tickets to the event!
Tickets were unavailable within 5 seconds of going live. What a horrible way to treat fans who wanted to celebrate this milestone. Extremely disappointed.
I hate blizzard for doing this, tickets were gone before 1:01 PM. I kept refreshing and clicking the box. It went from “coming soon” to “sold out”. I can’t be the only person frustrated by this.
Sounds like scalpers got a bunch of em. Theres no way it sold out that fast.
Tickets should have the buyers name printed on them and if the name doesn’t match the person’s DL when they get to the event, the ticket should be ripped up right in front of the ticket holder and they’re denied entry.
Down with scalpers!
Saw this coming a mile away. You would think in the year 2025 we could come up with some sort of scalper protection. I mean at this point you should just make the tickets $10,000 a piece since you’re not going to do a damn thing about scalpers, might as well make more money of them.
I really shouldn’t be giving you ideas, that was sarcasm btw Blizz.
scalpers once again took all of our tickets…
You DO realize scalpers use bots to buy things up online as quickly as possible right? It is possible that scalpers got every one of them.
I know about the bot thing and unfortunately it sounds like your most likely correct.
Unfortunately
Its bs and doesn’t seem Blizzard doesn’t care abou it. I would love to see the attendance numbers for this event next week seeing how many people show up.
I agree with you. Even if AB didn’t have the means to prevent this Microsoft definitely does. There is literally no excuse for them not taking proper precautions against this sort of thing happening.
Shocked? No
Surprised? No
On brand for MicroActaBlizz? Yes
One can hope that the scalpers can’t sell a single ticket and it will be an empty event…
Only thing that would encourage someone to fix that.
Kind of funny how they make a WQ about beating up scalpers but here they are enabling them.
Quietly void the first round of ticket sales so scalpers lose money. (And yes, I realize actual attendees got tickets too.)
