Low-key it’s kind of depressing to see Blizzard just completely gut the DPS role. If you had soft enrage on bosses it would be one thing, but you don’t. Hard enrages are lazy but they did get the job done.
I worry you just encouraged guilds to stack 7 or 8 healers because fights have zero dps pressure anymore, other than only the final boss.
If blizzard are not willing to remove enrage timers altogether, this is the second best solution imo.
We will see how far we can go tonight (hopefully far)
I am not a fan of flat enrage timers, at all. If your team has mastered the mechanics, and can stay alive, no need to artificially pick a number to pull the rug out.
I think the issue that sod has is there’s no real catch up except just spending weeks farming the same rotation of dungeons, having someone tunnel gear you or spending a week playing the AH… there’s extremely very little going in the endgame for this version I can now see why people left and havent returned…
Hey blizzard how about just removing Warlock summoning from the game and adding summon stones. That would be better use of your time then nerfing this raid all the time because some people can’t clear the raid.
Era is only dead right now because Fresh/Anni came out. Once the Fresh/Anni servers progress through TBC into WOTLK and the classic andys can’t clear Ulduar, then the Era servers will begin to repopulate. In the immortal words of George Lucas, its like poetry, it rhymes.
the fact of the matter is regardless of what is done it stands that this raid was not tuned for 20 people. even the world first guild used more than 20 and there in top 1%. Devs really dropped the ball to finish on SoD.
