Today we’ve made updates to address Candle King’s healing absorb, along with some other helpful adjustments and quality-of-life changes. With hotfixes that are now live on all realms:
Dungeons
Darkflame Cleft
Candle King’s Throw Darkflame’s health absorb reduced by 20%.
Cinderbrew Meadery
Hobgoblins no longer spawn Brewdrop on death.
Yes Man health reduced by 10%.
Operation: Mechagon - Workshop
Rim visual added to Plasma Orb in King Mechagon’s encounter.
Line visual added to Mega-Zap from Aerial Unit R-21/X in King Mechagon’s encounter.
K.U.-J.0. health reduced by 10%.
Addressed an issue where K.U.-J.0. can be hit during Venting Flame in certain angle.
Priory of the Sacred Flame
Ardent Paladin health reduced by 6%.
Feverant Sharpshoote’s Pot Shot cooldown increased by 100%.
War Lynx’s health reduced by 20 and Pounce’s impact damage reduced by 20%.
In a sense they are also affected by the 10% hp nerf as they are still Yes men, just with a damage buff. Also being immune to CC and heal to full. The name change is mainly cosmetic.
Cool can you address the ridiculous state of fury now? Can we not be last place in Raid AND in m+ please? This is unsub and go to another game territory,
Jokes aside, I’m surprised to see priory nerfs. This dungeon feels pretty good in terms of the timer. I was expecting a way bigger nerf for cinderbrew because that timer is exceptionally tight.
It wouldn’t be the first time Blizzard has pulled this nonsense. Way back during the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, the go-to strategy for Gluth in Naxxramas was to pull him such that he came to the waiting raid group in the piping above the dog’s room. This was the case from WotLK launch all the way up to 3.2.0’s release, when an undocumented change was made to make Gluth stuck in evasion if people attempted to pull the boss beyond his room. So people that had been doing it the only way they were aware of for about nine whole months – including yours truly – suddenly found themselves having to completely re-learn the encounter.
The first pull of Rookery has an enemy that casts a frontal. His name is Quartermaster Koratite and the frontal is named bounding void.
Well this frontal is hard to see. It’s just purple cone but slightly see through and short frontal animation in a group of grey-purple enemies and our group with their animations going.
Let me put it this way: If Blizzard had made that Gluth change a lot sooner, it would still suck but it’d be whatever, right? But it doesn’t feel good and makes a player-base more resentful if something that’s long been the status quo is upended with no warning. That’s a skill fail on Blizzard’s part and not the community’s.
Do I think the K.U.J.O. change rises to the degree of Gluth? No. I was simply giving a past example.
