The Great Push (TGP) returns in January 2025! Register today for the last chance to earn the Tempered Banner of the Algari.
And here we go…
There’s only one Great Push I have any stake in, and it comes after my morning coffee.
Are mythic dungeons still going to be time based or have a death counter?
If mythic plus will have a death counter, then TGP is just going to be a series of dungeons that take five hours each.
have a good time title pushers!
Why would you think they would have a death counter instead of a timer?
And in this case, the announcement specifically says “against the clock”
if you repeat something enough times it becomes true
Because blizzard sent out a survey to its players asking if they wanted a death counter for mythic plus instead of a timer.
Did you not see all the forum posts regarding this?
Pretty sure wowhead also posted an article detailing the survey regarding mythic plus death counters and the removal of timers.
An udder one? We bulls always have a great push after a day in the pasture. Grass just mooves right through us.
Who else giggles when someone says The Great Push?
They also had a survey that had numerous possible classes…
But we are all smart enough to know that, at best, we are getting 1 in the next 4-5 years. Possibly none.
Just because its on a survey doesnt mean its going to happen

The survey specifically asked about replacing mythic plus timers for a death counter for war within season 2, though.
Id like to sign up for the lottery to join the one pug you put into the tournament. Where is the form for that?
TGP is real PvE.
I’m just here for the poop strain jokes.
You shouldn’t The Great Push. You need to relax and just let things happen normally.
I still think “The Great Push” sounds like toilet humor.
Which is fitting, because deep down Warcraft was always about jokes.
